Today is Christmas Eve. Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas.
Aside from Santa's flight late tonight, it is game day for many NFL teams and most importantly for us, the big game with rival Dallas.
While I followed Roger Staubach as a Naval Midshipman, his eventual hiring by Dallas and the games played between Dallas and the Dolphins were always thrilling as well as embarrassing. Dallas has never been "America's Team" for me but on a "despised" rivalry status with the Jets and Raiders. I root for the opposing team they each face during the season. Some of you may feel the same way.
Anyway, the game is after 4pm today at the stadium and I am hoping the Dolphins bring their "A" game. We must defeat Dallas, plain and simple. The Bills are now breathing down our backs and they have lighter opponents to face than we do. So, "root, root" for the home team. Play with vim and vigor!
Go Dolphins! Beat Dallas.

Going back to the Titans game, it showed all of us that the Fins are not a solid, can beat anyone team. That game soured me on this season. Today and the following two games will determine Miami's fate.
If they can win all three, hell, Super Bowl here we come, but I am, as yet, not very confident what this team will deliver, starting today.
I am recording today's game as I do not wish to sit in front of the tv watching a live, blowout of my Dolphins. They win or at least make a game of it, I will watch the recording. If they get blown out, well, I'm on to better things.
Here's hoping the Fins do the job.
BTW, I haven't seen anything indicating Hill will be on the field. I'm guessing it will be a game-time decision
I didn't understand McDaniels decision to not just kick an easy field goal on 4th down on the 10. I like playing to win , but it's the 1st half and we were only down by 4?
That said.....the defenseive unessessary penalty on both QBs was bullshit. At least we scored on ours.

Yeah how about that kicker! LMAO at the Sparano reference.
The defense made up for Monday night and finished the game. Luckily Sanders finally found his foot. It was up his ass but he managed to free it up just in time

Both Hill and Waddle dropped some perfect passes too. Oline played admirably but Could still pass protect better.
I read that this is the first time in Dolphin history that the QB has over 4000 yards, RB has over 1000 yards and, two (2) WRs have over 1000 yards, all in the same season. Team history is being made on multiple fronts.

If we win out the regular season we'll have a magical stat of 13 wins.
It's doable but by no means easy. "Uncle Dan" as the players call him would surely be pleased!

Treasure - you are correct. Hill dropped a sure TD. Granted, it was little off, but he's made those catches before. With him having to sit out the Jets game and then that drop, his 2,000 yards is pretty much ended. If he had caught that one along with the other 9 catches, he would still have a chance, but that is over.

Agreed - Tua was a little off. He was high on some throws, and I am guessing there were a couple of miscommunications along the way. Hill dropping that sure TD pass didn't help.
I also think some of the issues have been because of the constant OLine shuffle. Has Miami, this season, had all their number one's line up for the whole game? That issue has to be shored up, especially this week vs the Ravens.
