Baker shoving the ball carrier when he was already out of bounds was a damn foolish mistake the really changed momentum. Patriots went on to score. I feel this mistake in judgment has turned the Dolphins effort around. Half-time right now with Patriots getting the ball to start the 3rd Quarter. Dolphins need to stay cool and not do stupid things to hurt their confidence and give ground up to

This is game #16. It's been a long, interesting season. From the early beginning when the team looked like a Saturday pick-up game, progressing slowly to get that first win, watching the hiring and releasing of players performing at many different positions to see if team cohesion would develop. Now with 4 wins and players that are beginning to gel into a viable team, we face our nemesis again. W

When I left the TV to go to my son's house, the score was 21-6, and I thought the Dolphins were going to blow out the Bengals and win another game. The Bengals really looked bad. Later in the afternoon with no TV available, I asked Siri on my iphone what the score was of the game and got 35-35 OT. Winning the game in OT? Really?

Well, what is in store for the fans of both teams today? I haven't a clue. It could be a wonderful opportunity for Josh Rosen to get a little on field practice in, I suppose. That could be of value. Maybe we see the offensive line come together today for whomever is at QB. The game starts at 1pm. The Dolphins might win or maybe not--it's a crap shoot. Time will tell.

Captkoi, the Dolphins "experiment" with players repositioning week after week has partially been due to wanting to see the best player at a position plus putting a body in place because the previous body was injured. The secondary is filled with "who in the hell is that" players. They are cast-offs from other teams now sporting a Dolphins uniform. Agree that continuity is key

It appears that the Patriots organization will do whatever they can to get an edge on their opponents. Reviewing tapes of opposing team game play isn't quite enough, that what most teams do to prepare. The Pats go beyond that. I hope opponents have security sweeps in full swing checking for hidden microphones and fiber optic camera lines in the locker room when they visit the Patriots. Can't t

Agree that "Whiskers" could play again next year and mentor Rosen and any other prospect we have eyes on that is on the roster. I have no problem with that whatsoever. Fitzpatrick is fun to watch. He is intelligent to boot; love his post game comments. He talks straight. We definitely have to firm up the big men in the trenches--both sides. I do want to see a power FB and a top not

The game ... very disappointing effort in the 2nd half by the Dolphins. No ability to put pressure on Manning left him too much time to read and find receivers that our secondary could not cover very well. I thought for sure it would be close...it didn't turn out that way. It was a blow-out in the second half for the Giants. Bengals are next. The Giants move to 3 wins. Other teams have

Our focus must be toward building a great offensive and defensive line. Should by a miracle and a total surprise that a first flight QB is available, we can't let that opportunity get by us. Again, however, the situation has to be right. Fitzpatrick isn't our future, we know it and he probably knows it too. Rosen could be our franchise QB, however, I just don't see it. It is presumptuous to belie

Samsam, I don't believe our RB corps is set in stone and expect a good number of RB picks during the upcoming NFL draft. I would also like a few picks at FB. We need a bruiser that can elevate our blocking for a swift, crafty RB. We also need that same bruiser to get tough yardage for a 1st down or at the goal line. We've missed having a hard hitting, no nonsense FB for a long time. It's time for

Devante Parker seems injury prone. His skill level has never risen high enough because of a variety of reasons (not enough playing time, lousy play calling, poor coaching, inconsistency at QB etc). He has shown moments with Fitzpatrick that gives us a chance to see his value to the team. I just hope he gets healthy, can stay healthy and provide more exciting moments for the offense next season.

Manning v. Fitzpatrick. Poor offense v. poor offense. Lousy defense against lousy defense. LOL, it's sure to be a fantastic game! How will turn overs decide this game? Could bad officiating make a difference in which team wins it? Has there ever been a 0-0 tie? I'm rooting for a Dolphins win (have to)...but losing the game is a win for the Dolphins in the off season. Boy, is this ass b

"Beef the Trenches, Beef the Trenches" a solid mantra that needs to be shouted out. Building a sturdy foundation is the primer for anything that will stand the test of time. It also applies to creating a strong offensive and defensive line. Our next NFL draft should be (must be) a blend of highly talented and motivated players.

Opening holes for a RB is key to gaining 4+ yards a carry. Plays that are called look to fit that RB through a certain hole to do that. What is happening with our O-line, for the most part, is there are no holes being opened for the RB to hit. When there is no hole, a RB has two choices: 1) he follows the planned play at the location where the holes are supposed to be and is stopped for no gain o

Mizzou15 stated: "Line cannot open holes." That is a fact. No even the very best HOFer would do much behind our terrible run blocking offensive line. When I watch other teams that have running capability their offensive lines move very well, a coordinated set of moves with powerful effort. Our players don't do any of that very well. Strength and technique are their weaknesses.

Last evening I watched the NY Giants play the Eagles. Manning was starting at QB and the first half of the game looked quite promising. However, the true Giants showed up in the 2nd half and the game went south for them. Tied at 17 the teams went into overtime and the Eagles scored 7 to win the game. My point is simple, the Giants are worse than the Dolphins. Maybe as bad as the Bengals. They wil

After today's "upset" loss--thank you judging crew--the Dolphins face the lowly Giants, Bengals and the struggling Patriots--the last 3 games for the Dolphins this season. The Bengals have the worst record with one win and the Giants are with 2 wins. When we face the Giants we will have a depleted receiver corps. Wilson and Parker will be out because of head injuries that occurred du

I have to say it, our offensive can't block worth a crap! Only on a passing play do holes open up enough and then Whiskers makes a run for it. He's our only ground gainer. In the off season we must upgrade on our blocking capability. Being one dimensional is just too easy for the opposition to deal with. Devante Parker is out with a concussion. He landed on his head not his shoulder. He wi

I don't know how many Dolphins fans will be out in cold weather in the NYC metro area...however, hats off to those present rooting for the team. The game starts in a little while and I'll be tuned in to see how they do. Bell isn't in the game and that may be plus for our run defense. Devante Park should be a key target again for Whiskers. I hope Laird gets to play some too, I think he's spec

Is it that time again? This time we visit the Jets and face them in cooler weather. With 3 wins we could take our 4th game. Gase is not the coach Flores is and it will be a chess match. I look forward to this game and believe "Whiskers" will shine again. Go Dolphins. Play hard, play to win. Beat the Jets.

I have to wonder how much effect Ryan Fitzpatrick is having on the young guys on the team. "Whiskers" shows a lot of grit, IMO, and that must also have an effect on Flores and the many assistant coaches. I kind of believe there's a positive fit there. Don't have much of an opinion on Josh Rosen though. I don't see him on the sideline sitting with "Whiskers" going over pla

You can knock me over with a feather! Is this the same team we saw in the first half? Dunno, what happened, but it was amusing to watch and Parker played like we hoped he would for the past...few years. Laird is a keeper guys. He is versatile and we need to see more of him. Fitzpatrick has grit. Wentz is overrated. Eagles have to be talking to themselves and answering. They were outplayed in

Oh boy, not a good start with that interception. Not sure about the incidental block on Parker that allowed the Eagles to grab the ball. The O-line continues to be out manned not matter the level of talent on the opposing team. We can't run, and provide minimal time to through the ball. Fitzpatrick is going to have a tough day unless something crazy happens on the Eagles side.

This could be a very interesting game. The Eagles aren't playing very well and neither are the Dolphins. Either team could lose this one. The winner may be the team that scores first. It should be a nice day in South Florida--love this mild weather--and that will be great for fans at the stadium. Go Dolphins--play hard, play to win every snap of the ball.
