Considering the lack of comments, I guess no one was upset or surprised by any of these cuts. Did you hear what Omar suggested? He thinks that this means a couple of players will be going on IR. Could that be Hartline or Murtha?

Bob, I realized what you had meant, but I was just point out the error. Having said that, I disagree with you. The left side is the blind side and you need your best tackle there. In theory, it is supposed to be easier to play right tackle so Martin is cutting his teeth there and perhaps one day might become a left tackle. I believe the coaches have made the right decision and will let him t

Bob, I think you got a couple things back to front. First, you are saying that Martin is strongest on his left, but since he is getting beat to the inside on the right side, then he should be weak with his left. Also Jake is on the left and Martin is on the right. East is West, left is right, up is down and black is white, inside out, wrong is right, it's back to front and I'm a

Interesting watching the skins vs the colt is that nobody is dropping balls. How is it that all of our do?

If there is a stud receive when we are on the clock, then I think that is the obvious choice. You would have to weigh that against a great linebacker though.

I don't think the issue for Martin is left vs. right, although it might compound the problem. The issue is that he is a rookie and he came in late. He is facing players that are a lot better than the ones he played in college. Apparently, the staff thinks he has great potential and it is just a matter of learning the position. He is a bright guy with skill so give him time to master his craft.

At least the defense showed up against a pretty good offense in the first half. If we could just catch passes. This team needs to stop playing that worthless hot potato game and spend more time catching game like passes.

I don't believe we will trade Davis, but we will know for sure tonight whether he is on the market or not. If he plays then it is a rumor, if he doesn't play then Ireland is negotiating.

They are on Egnew's butt because they think he can become a player. I really like the fact that they are so complimentary of Shelby. That is quite a coup when you can get a good DE after the draft is over. This draft will depend on Tannehill. Yes the other guys show promise, but if Tannehill doesn't pan out then the draft will be seen as a failure. Fortunately, Tannehill looks like he has

On the surface it may not have seemed this way, but Solia and Starks actually did a nice job against the run and getting push up the middle. I broke down play after play. In reality the defense didn't do as badly as the results indicate. I feel better about what I saw after really breaking it down. The guy that bothered me was Gary Guyton. He seemed slow to react.

I went ahead and voted for Tannehill under the assumption that he starts. Part of the reason, is that I assume that the Dolphins have more talent around him and a system and pace that could lead to a lot of points. The defense figured to be better too. Of course, judging by what we have seen so far in the preseason, it doesn't seem like that will be the case. I hope they put it together.

I haven't forgotten what I saw of a healthy Daniel Thomas early last year. He seemed to be a beast until he got hurt. I think he has the talent, but he needs so decent oline play.

It is clear that Martin is struggling, but I think they expected as much. They apparently see a lot of talent in him, but he needs experience in this system and at the pro level. Therefore, they have thrown him out there and think he can quickly learn from his mistakes, eventually cleaning them up and become the player they think he can be. With that having been said, he has sucked so far.

Is it just me or do the safeties seem so far back that they are out of the play constantly?

The defense looks weak. No pass rush. Still giving up big plays. The Dolphins haven't stopped them once. The Panthers stopped themselves. If this keeps up we will be the worst defense in the NFL. Offensively, I am noticing that the line is awful, especially Jonathan Martin. Tannehill has been either sacked of deflected multiple times. In addition, our running game is non-existent. Reggie

115. Re: Hogan
Is it time to tell my Larry Csonka story again? I met Larry at a signing and mentioned to him that my brother is Howard Twilley(that actually is my brother's name and in a roundabout way, it is the reason I became a Dolfan). After mentioning that he stopped and took a long hard inquisative look at me. At that point, I confessed he wasn't the same Howard as the one he played with. He then said

Come on now. Hard Knocks and the coach's talk with Chad had nothing to do with his turmoil with his wife. It wasn't a straw breaking the camel's back. He isn't a bright guy and he chose to marry, by all accounts, a psycho wife. He is child-like and his antics cost him his last chance and much more. The door swings both ways and this time it hit him on the ass on the way out.

I am not sure. What are the advantages to not having the adds? The only thing that has bothered me with the adds has been the recent problems with not being able to go "back". Recently, I have also had some issues with viruses that apparently can occur from clicking on certain adds. This is the reason I am getting rid of anything from Microsoft(I don't trust them) and I will be instal
