Roberto Wallace said he see flashes as to why Tannehill was a no.8 pick. Bess agrees and loves his accuracy.

Carey is a free agent and I don't think we will sign him. The guy to keep and eye on is Jake Scott from the Titans. He certainly has the right name.

Things have gone from bad to worse. On channel 6, Kent Brockman is reporting allegations that Ryan Tannehill missed Pop Warner practice, not once, but twice because he had an orthodontist appointment. Not only does this bring his dedication into question, but it is also clearly a medical redflag.

I am still more concerned about Rishard Matthews mental state.

I am completely serious. Matthews' father not letting him play high school football during his freshman and sophomore years ranks right up there with Cecil Collins breaking into a couple's apartment and jerking off at the foot of their bed while they sleep. It is absolutely disgraceful. The guy is a hoodlum. Rishard Matthews should join the Deisel in prison as should any member of a high schoo

Ben Volin reported the following: "Like (Jimmy) Wilson, who served almost two years in prison before being exonerated of a first-degree murder charge, Matthews faces questions about his past. His father, Andre, was a Marine Corps master sergeant who would not allow Rishard to play football as a freshman and sophomore in high school. He also moved around, spending time at seven different h

I agree that Ireland is "coming across more natural". He definitely seems more comfortable and at ease. Before, he bit his lips a lot and came across like he was trying to be tough, but was really afraid. He seemed arrogant too. Honestly, I think he has been coached, like a politician, in talking to the media. Also, while he "didn't over-communicate his lust for Tannehill&qu

Don't sell the 6th and 7th rounder short. Chris Chambers said that he thinks Cunningham will be a good pro. He watched him live against Wisconsin and was worried about what he was doing against his Baggers. While none of us will be thrilled to hear that Charles Davis compared him to Patrick Turner,it was nice that his former college coach likened him to Muhsin Muhhamed. As for Matthew

I tend to think they will be patient with him and let him learn on the sidelines for most of this year. However, in his first start with A&M Sherman didn't bring him along slowly. Tannehill threw the ball 50 times for over 400 yards and 4 touchdowns. So I tend to think that if he outplays the vets in camp, then he gives them the best chance to win and gets played. It is a realistic possibi

I gave it a B. A Tannehill is the player I ulimately ended-up coveting. He is a special talent and fits the system. Give him time and he will be a star. Several months ago, many mocks had us selecting Reiff with the 8th pick. The ones that didn't often had us selecting Jonathan Martin. I like super smart guys like him. I don't know much about Vernon, but apparently the scouts loved

After watching his introduction to the media, I came away extremely impressed by Tannehill. He clearly has a great head on his shoulders. He was articulate, knowlegable and humble. I liked how honest and "matter of fact" he was. At times, you could tell he thought the questions were kind of stupid, but handled them well. In no way did he resemble Henne to me. Henne was ofish and b

I love the pick. I thought he was the 2nd best back in the draft, but I didn't know about the injury issues. Does anyone know more about that? At this point, I didn't have a strong conviction on any of the receivers. McNutt is still there and I suppose we could go with another Miami player in Streeter later. With his experience in Sherman's offense, Jeff Fuller makes sense too.

Upshaw, Branch or Curry would be nice on the edge. Glenn, Martin, Silatolu and Massie would help on the oline. Hill and Randle would fill the big receiver void. Fleener at TE makes sense too. That's 10 guys that wouldn't hurt my feelings

In due time, he will be the man. I agree totally with the pick and firmly believe he will be a top-notch qb. You have to love the fact that they had the inside knowledge and went with him. In many ways, he is already ahead of the other qbs.

I am in complete agreement with Berk. In fact, I was going to start the very same thread. I bet that, outside of the quarterbacks, when we look back at this draft, we will find that Kuechly was the best and most consistent player. He has been highly productive and proved to be quite the athlete at the combine. I believe that he would address a need too. I am also in agreement with Berk about

Bob, I don't understand why you think he is such a reach. Have you watched his game film? It is pretty damn impressive. Both Mayock and McShay love him. While some say it would be a bit of a reach to pick him in the top 10, I haven't heard anyone say he isn't a 1st rounder. He also satisfies a major position of need. Compound all that with his familarity with the system and coach and I thin

I was fairly impressed with Moore last year. By all accounts, the offensive line was atrocious and he still managed to matriculate the ball up and down the field. Especially, impressive is how he was able to do it without really having had much preparation initially. I don't buy the argument that he isn't a good fit in a West Coast offense. Garrard had a nice 2010 and will provide excellen
