Is wildcat worth running anymore? It seems as if every play gets stopped for 2 yards or less now. I think we may still be using it to set up the big play.

Has someone heard something that I haven't? I understood that it was a bad break above the ankle. I didn't hear about any injury to the joint or any nerve damage. Assuming it was just the bone and there is no necrosis, then he should come back as strong as before.

It was very unfortunate that Donald Thomas had to be placed on IR this year. The guy was showing great promise. The Jets defensive line raved about his toughness after the opening game and he played much of that game with a lisfranc fracture. I thought a lot about C. Long and still do. He is a special player. I advocated for him on this site, but always pointed out that I didn't think you could go wrong with either Long. I also understood that Jake's position was a position of need. After the combine, I pointed out that I thought Gholston would be a major mistake too.
