> Can you imagine Shula in his prime dumping like that?????
Well, a Shula led team did start 9-2, then lose its last 5 games to finish 9-7 and out of the playoffs, back in the 90's. Of course that team had guys like Scott Mitchell and Steve Deberg starting at QB most of the season, but still...

Same. I was shocked when I heard we drafted a WR in RD2 that ran a 4.77. Good to hear there's more to this kid than that. Otherwise, he better be the next coming of Oronde Gadsden!

Oh, wait, the guy who supposedly died turned out to be faking it? I'd almost forgotten about all that. Holy shit, this is bringing back memories...
Yer right, that old forum was more about smack-talking and B.S. than anything, but we sure had fun with it in the day.

Saban was f%@ng scum anyway... This is the same guy who walked over Jeno James while he was lying on the ground having convulsions. That guy (Saban) is just an asshole, full-stop.
As for the rest... who's to say? Coaches have changed, players have changed, execs have changed... this isn't the same team it was in 2005 in many, many ways. How much did the culture carry over from one era to a

I feel bad about not keeping in touch with some of those folks. Ray Ray and I spoke in real-life a couple of times, although we never met face to face. At one time we lived relatively near each other, but he moved back up north somewhere right after I moved near him.
One of the other Jets fans also lived in NC and we met up for a couple of games. I lost a bet with him once, on the first Dol

Yep. I was "Doctor Feelgood" on the old HeraldTalk site, and still am here.
That said, I'm pretty sure I discovered phins.com *before* I discovered HeraldTalk, and I've been a user of Curt's "Phins News Wire" page pretty much since the day it rolled out. And to this day, that's my goto page for Dolphins news. I reload it 10-15 times a day probably, just checking to see if

I swear, I sometimes think the Dolphins won't win another championship in my lifetime. I was 6 freaking month old last time they won one, so I didn't exactly get to enjoy it.
Living on tradition and memories and "almost" seasons is getting old. It's time for Ross to whip this team into shape and get something going.

For all the crap Henne gets around here, nobody seems to realize that A. he was playing hurt most of the 2nd half of the 2010 season, and he was playing *very* well before he got hurt last year. If not for shitty blocking by the O-Line and backs, Henne might just still be out starting QB.
It's not like he was some scrub like Jay Fielder or AJ Feeley. Henne had some talent, things just di

I'm pretty sure billionaire Stephen Ross couldn't f!#ng care less what a bunch of nobodies on a fan forum think about his media skills. He's done more in his life already than all of us put together ever will; if he wants to say "I hope we retire this jersey one day" then that's fine... he should say it.
It may or may not come true, but that's fine. People really ought to quit ov

Dump... the quality of their writing is abysmally bad, and their reporting is laughable. I rarely if ever find anything of value in their articles.

Jason Campbell is a scrub, as is Kyle Orton. Neither is even an upgrade over Chad Henne.
As far as that goes, I'd be fine with bringing back Henne to let him compete with Moore and $DRAFTPICK, assuming we don't go nuts and trade the world to get RGIII. If we sign Flynn, we should still draft a QB later in the draft as insurance, or bring back Henne.
If we get Peyton, and IF he's healthy

"Suck for Luck" is a pretty silly idea anyway. The goal is to win games, not lose them. And to suggest encouraging losing just to pick up some kid who has never played a down in the NFL, who could just as easily be the next Ryan Leaf as the next Peyton Manning? I'll pass, thanks.
And even IF Luck is "all that," it's not like he's the only good player in the draft.

Given how porous our O-Line is and considering that Moore is already dinged up, I think it's a given that J.P. Losman will be starting at QB eventually. And I'm guessing he won't be the last QB we start this season... so, any bets on who takes a snap as the Dolphins starting QB by the end of the season?
Donovan McNabb?
Trent Edwards?
Duante Culpepper?
Jamarcus Russell
Pat White?

I'm never going to root for the Dolphins to lose... screw this "suck for Luck" crap or whatever.
BUT... I am starting to just plain care less and less about all this, with every passing week, and every loss. I'm getting to the point where I'm asking myself why I waste my time watching the Dolphins play, or why I watch football at all. I'm not deriving any joy or satisfaction from t

Henne has been decent, but like somebody said, he's still not doing well with the deep throws. Then again, a couple of those were to Gates, who may have been at fault.

A&O, I imagine I know the (at least one of) the mechanism(s) you're referring to, if not the specifics. If so, my previous experience watching pre-season game for free online has been that it was annoying to fight through all the spammy links, difficult to find a feed that would stay up for the entire game, even harder to find a feed that wasn't lagged six ways to Sunday, and/or didn't freez

eh... whatever. He's kinda right on one of those and way off on the other one. But props to anybody for having the balls to go against the mainstream and speak their mind.

Unless this team finds some heart and sense of urgency, Spiller with rush for 300 yards and the Bills will in 72-0.
