I am trying not to get *too* worked up, but this is still very discouraging. Game planning or no, guys need to execute.

I think Hartline is faster than people are giving him credit for. Him and Marshall make a fine pair of WRs, and we have a couple of guys in Bess and Camarillo that are nice complementary players. I do regret getting rid of Ginn Jr., but so be it... I don't think WR will be our limiting position this year. Actually, I think the offense will be pretty potent in general. But that's just me.

Hmm... is there a FS still on the board worth taking here? Would anybody still go for a NT? I'm thinking FS, NT and TE are still the main needs...

Can they really have drafted him to play DE??? That was hardly a big need for us.. Starks, Langford and McDaniel give us 3 solid guys and Merling has shown flashes of talent. DE was probably the position we had the LEAST need on Defense (well, maybe other than C. Surely they're expecting him to move to NT or OLB? Surely?!?!

Well, if he can bulk up and play NT, great. Isn't he kinda tall for a NT thought? And bottom line is, we *have* to get OLB help from somewhere. If we had a game tomorrow, who starts at OLB? Cam Wake and (Quentin Moses | Erik Walden | Charlie Anderson)??

Played DT in college, but what position would he play for us? He's not NT size, but we aren't exactly desperate for help at DE... could Odrick play OLB?

Are there any more "Ginn Family" members we could draft? Maybe a little brother or something?

Cool, traded down to 28 and still have some good defensive players on the board... and now we have a 2nd rounder. Not bad, not bad at all. Especially if Tim Dobbins can contribute anything.

Whether or not guns should be allowed on planes as a matter of course is a different discussion... all I'm saying is, the reaction to this is WAY over the top. I think it's pretty obvious that he didn't intend any harm (and nobody got hurt), and heck, the gun never made it on the plane. All security had to do was go "Sir, you can't bring this with you onto the plane, please place it in

Feh... it's not like he was going to be using the gun on the plane. You anti-gun kooks are overreacting as usual... OMG, A GUUUUUUUN... OOOOOOH, SCARY GUNS.. GUNS BAD, BAD, EVIL, BAD, GUN, OH NOOOEESSSSSS, MOMMY, A GGGGGGGGUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNN, blah, freaking, blah, blah, freaking blah. Get a grip already, he didn't hurt anybody, didn't try to hurt anybody, and didn't even hurt himself. In sh

Too bad. I would have liked to bring him back to Miami and focus on defense in the draft. I think Chambers + Ginn, Hartline, Camarillo, and Bess would be "good enough," coupled with a solid defense.

LOL... for one weekend only, guys. We need the Jets to knock off New England. Yeah, a wildcard is still in play, but I'd rather win the division. GO JETS!

I don't think there's really a "textbook" definition of the Wildcat anymore. Last year we knew it was the WC when there was a wingback in motion, the QB split out wide and the unbalanced line. But this year, even the Dolphins have rarely used the unbalanced line in "Wildcat" plays. And where last year it was pretty much always done with a single-back (the R in the backfield

I thought Henne did OK, considering the circumstances. Yeah, you want to see him show some awareness and chuck the ball out of bounds when he knows he's out of the tackle box and won't get flagged. But I'd rather see him take a sack than turn the ball over or draw a penalty. He'll get better with time. Right now you have to expect him to have some good games and some bad games... today wa

I'd be down with signing another "scat back" type to replace Cobbs, if one can be found. If not, does anybody know if Chris Williams is back healthy and if he's still a FA? Or is he still on our roster on some reserve list or other?

Agreed. In fact, I think my next Dolphins jersey will be a #23 - Brown jersey. It'll look nice beside my #34 - Williams, and #30 - Parmalee ones! Seems weird to have all RBs though, given that it's been a LONG time since the Dolphins "star power" was focused at that position!

As long as we didn't give up too much for him, I like the move. He started 11 games last year for a bad Chiefs team and still threw 18 TDs against 12 INTs. Plus he ran for a score or two and I think he even caught a TD pass. Could be some quality depth at QB, or maybe even a potential starter down the road.

Having Henne as the #3 was the right decision. And White can absolutely throw deep, did you guys see the pass to Ginn? He's got plenty of arm for the deep ball, more than Pennington. Once him and Ginn get on the same page and they complete that pass... wow. As for being accurate... White completed something like 68% of his passes in college, he's never had a problem with accuracy. He's jus

I'm probably in the minority here, but I don't look down much at McNair for having an affair. Since I got really into studying Evolutionary Psychology lately, I've come to consider "romantic love" to be pretty much a joke, and I've realized that human beings are - in essence - what the evolutionary psychologists / evolutionary biologists would call a "mostly monogamous" specie

I never thought he belonged in jail, but I don't want him on the 'Phins team. If somebody gives him a chance to renew his career, that's fine, but I don't want him as a Dolphin.
