The quote function is not operating. My tests didn't work. I've had to do it the old fashioned way and reference the person, and pasting in the comment with quotes. E.g.-- Ken stated: "Not going to happen with us, but regardless, I'd still like to see it."

First off, Flores seemed thrilled with the opportunity to be head coach of the Miami Dolphins. He seemed 100% genuine in his comments about it. He is an intense, dedicated, no nonsense kind of leader and he will whip the players he has or gets into a family unit. The family unit culture exists in NE with the ownership and trickles down to the players for the most part. I believe this is why B

ChyrenB commented: "They never used Tannehill in the way in which he would be most effective." Wide Receiver? Just kidding of course.... In my opinion, there are many special team players that will remain on the roster, however, a good number of 2nd string players will not make it and, several starters will be cut or be traded to obtain more draft picks. The team will be

Underdogs...ha! With no pressure to rush his throws, Brady throws strikes. I'm not surprised they are back in the SB. One has to wonder if a young coach can compete, preparation wise, with Belichick. Do the Rams really have a chance to outplay the Patriots on the biggest stage? We'll know in two weeks.

Whoever is discounting the Patriots making them underdogs is nuts. They have lots of post season experience and have the mental upper hand in my opinion. I like the Chiefs and would like to see them play in the SB. It's been 50 years since they were in that game. Good luck to them.

I'm not sure what's going on. Appears to be a glitch in the software, I'm guessing. Or, it is artificial intelligence striking out against the folly.

Back to the topic. Personally, I believe the Dolphins should stay away from coaches associated with the Cowboys and the Patriots. Connections to these franchises for the Dolphins aren't sound. The best association, thus far, has been Amendola. Coaches associated with Belichick haven't faired all that well. Being under Belichick for a period of time hasn't translated into brilliance as a HC. W

I learned about this earlier today at a car show where Joe Rose was present. He made the announcement that Kuechenberg passed away last night. Bob K├╝echenberg was an old school hard-nosed football player that played didn't let ailments stop him from playing. One tough hombre. Very sad to learn he's gone; should be in the HOF, in my opinion. He optimizes the football play of the 72 Dolphins

Thank you for the compliment...I'm blushing. Del Rio would be good for the Dolphins. Defense would improve considerably. That's a good place to start. And, yes I agree he should have enough going for him to pack the team with competent (veteran) assistants. Let's see how this goes.

No time to reflect on his miscues with this quick hiring by the Jets. It's likely that Gase will do the same things he did before. Time will tell.... Reflection is very helpful to most people to evaluate what they did. Sometimes the "thinking everything over" actually changes one's approach and posture, other times, the victim of circumstances "card" is played to erase clea

There has to be some head coach, for example, Jack Del Rio, that could build the Dolphins into a competitive team. He's had an up and down success as a HC, but I believe he might be able to turn things around here. Tannehill's future as the Dolphins QB has to be a key to hiring a HC. If I was in the mix, I sure would want to know what I was getting myself into before I said yes. That's reaso

ChyrenB--That's a good question. I wondered myself if TSStamper had actually posted or whether there's a glitch in the system following Curt's work. Where did you see the comment that you reference if its not on the thread? Was it somewhere else? Colonel

I've been listening to local talk radio about the Dolphins and the speculation on who Ross may hire to be the HC. Well, it is an uncertainty for sure, but I sense that a new hire will not be a proven head coach, but once again, a rookie. An experienced HC, I would think, aside from demanding a huge salary, would want to have more than a shell of a team to come to. Who in their right mind, oth

I wasn't surprised that Adam Gase was fired following that terrible showing against the Bills. I'd like to see an experienced HC be hired with a winning record.

Thanks Curt for getting the forums up and running again. Not being able to check comments and voice opinion was a big missing part of my daily routine. Many others must feel the same way. Thanks! Colonel

The difference between an average team (8-8 record) and a superior team (12-4 or better) isn't just a few additional quality players, it's above average players at most positions plus proven assistant coaches that can develop players to get them to be more effective in what they are supposed to do. Consequently, the Dolphins continue to employ unproven assistant coaches, and in regards to HC,

The Dolphins are 1-6 in away games. The team is atrocious on the road. Fans have to wonder why the team is so sorry in another team's stadium.

Another pathetic away game. Granted RT is limited with his legs and the lousy offensive line play compounds the inability for any offense. Parker and Stills not in this game. Was it lack of time for Tannehill to throw to them? Lack of breaking away from coverage in their routes? A combination of both? Yeah, probably both. The Dolphins lose this one 41 to 17. There were only a couple

33-17 with 9 minutes to play. Injury to RT has stymied his mobility and presented an easy target in the pocket for the Vikings. I don't expect any more miracles to close the gap in this game. Vikings are outplay the Dolphins. The fat lady is about to sing...so we can turn out the lights.

Holy Crap Marie, this team is horrendous. Vikings look like SB Champs. Emotions not carrying the day for the Dolphins...I was hopeful.... Agree Fins72, this is a first quarter knock out. It's going to be a long day. For those of you who have yet to put up outdoor lighting for Christmas, today may be a good day to do this rather than watch a runaway Vikings team beat the ever living crap out

I think they're on a boat--sure not at the game. This is a weak start for certain on both sides of the ball for Dolphins.

The Vikings have an advantage at home. However, there could be a special sense of "we can do it" following the "Miracle Play" of last Sunday. That kind of win can really stir the emotions in a positive way and that could make a big difference in this away game. The Dolphins used to have fans in every state, now, I'm not sure since we've played crappy for years and people leave
