The powers that be were hoping if they paid the money it might actually be true. Just because they paid Ryan Tannehill franchise QB money does not mean he is a franchise QB. Unfortunately, this most likely will hurt the team for many years going forward as far as cap money is concerned and to be able to get another QB.

This is not good news...ESPN is reporting: The Cleveland Browns have agreed to trade Braylon Edwards to the New York Jets on Wednesday morning, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. The Jets agreed to send key special teams player Jason Trusnik and draft picks to Cleveland, Schefter reported. Terms of the deal were still being finalized early Wednesday.
