Well, of course, and not exactly,
Of course the agent denies, and yes the Panthers did say he showed up claiming to be ill, and went back to his room and then flew out.
What did you expect Mallett to say, hey guys, I know I am suppose to take my job serious, but i got wasted last night and feel like crap.
Lol.
Forget Mallett. Look to me it makes more sense to draft a lower round prospect, like Devlin who had a 68% completion comming out of college, and also 6'4220 solid arm, and legs. Or the smaller McElroy with very solid numbers as well, not as much arm.
Especially if we can trade down, and pick up alot of OL, RB, WR help.
MAN that would be the dream for me.
Also if we do bad this year, we can trade the bank away for Luck next year. We be all G double 00 D good.

Phinfans, why do these stories only seem to be following your boy around and nobody else. It is all a big RYan Mallett conspiracy.
I hope the kid makes it, He has an amazing gun, and would be exciting and good for football if he can make the transition. If we draft him, I will root for the guy and look forward to watching him
actually your version is worse. how hung over must he have been if they turned him away from the job interview? For his sake he better really have come down with something that night after being spotted partying.
ok, wasnt trying to spin, I thinking the only spin that is coming out here is coming from Mallets camp. I just cant believe how much you just deny every account, when no other players are recieving these type of constant accusations from all over the place.

that was the report I heard, did you hear different?
I honestly don't know much about this guy, but I saw nothing wrong with him in that Gruden interview, it actually makes me pull for him a little more. Now the off field stuff.......I don't know enough about to comment on.
With all the news on Mallett that's out there, I'm guessing he's either going to be a huge bust and headache for any team that takes him or he'll break a bunch of records and make the HoF!! Wish we knew which it was.

I just listened to the interview with Mallett's dad. At the end of it, he says something about Jake Long and Mallett. I didn't know Jake Long played a year with him. I'm sure Jake will be weighing in with our coaching staff regarding Mallett's character

I wouldnt hold your breath on that one, because of the antitrust, and lockout isses, no player contact is allowed. That means nobody on the dolphins staff can contact any player on the team or be in serious violation at this point of the disagreement.
Until there is a new CBA and or the judge lifts the lockout and grants an injuction, no talking among players and coaches

Yes, maybe, maybe not, also considering Jake Long is best friends with Chad Henne, The 2 guys are leading offseaon workouts together. I wouldnt make that assumption to litely.

Chyren,
If you are referring this to me, then I just want to let you know that I am born and raised in South Carolina.
Trust me, I know the difference between a "Southern accent" and a white boy tring to act like somebody he is not.
