I was on ESPN last year and it was free. No complaints. It also has a smack talk board which is cool. I was on yahoo a few years back but don't remember much about it. Whatever you choose is fine by me.

ESPN might be the best way to go I think.

16 teams has to be max, not sure how you would do it otherwise?

We won't get 16 on here. We only have like 10 or 12 regulars who post here.

Right now we got 9.

The guy I used to run my website with wants in, so I let him play. So we need at least 1 more for 10. If we can go to 12 or 14 great. But only 1 shy of at least having a league

Most leagues go 12 teams max. I've played with 13, and it's a stretch.

Man I tell you what im in one league, and we have offense as well as defense!!! I wish we could run a set up like that.

Its a little fun league with no money involved.

The way the NFL is run now a days, with pass happy offense's and dual running backs, and NOW dual qb's with the wild-cat packages, there should be plenty of depth.

32 teams right, break that in half which is 16.

For depth sake, every team can have 2 defense's.

Again 32 teams, 32 starting qb's, RB'S, wr's number one, and two wr's Make it 64 quality picks.

Teams usally use two wr's at a time!!! 32 TE'S, K'S.

Again divide by two, 16.

I wouldnt mind having 16, because it makes it more challenging, and I have to dissagree with you Phinsfan2 sorry!

Everyone in a 16 team can get 2 qb's rbs, wr's, and k's, defense's, ect.

Depth becomes the "real challenge" in a bigger league, the diamond in the ruff's, and F/A when injuries happen.

Like I said I run a great draft, some people don't there-fore when they lose one or two signature guys, there season is done.

Not me baby, I always have a back-up plan, because Im the man. lol ohh seriously it will be ok if we got 16 guys.

The NFL leagues are fun, I do alot of them, and your ownly allowed to pick certain amount of players, 12 active, and I think 6 reserve.

I feel 14 would be perfect for a league, making things really challenging, and would rock the house!!!

phinsfan is right, 16 is way too many. 12 is perfect, causes you to make moves and use some strategy. But i'm down with whatever

Wow... I'm getting excited... This means that the season is approaching soon..

oh yeah... and I prefer to do the draft right before the start of the regular season. I was in a league once where they did a draft in the middle of pre-season and a really good player got hurt for the whole season in the third pre-season game... no good.. that guy was pissed. So, immediatley after the last pre-season game is when I like to hold the draft.

I also like live on-line drafts if you guys are up to it. Thats when you have an opportunity to get the value in late picks!
Just a thought. Obviously not everyone is going to be able to make it. whatever time you guys decide is okay with me because I'm in Afghanistan and your days are my nights and vice - versa. so if you pick any time between 5PM - 9PM (ET) on a Saturday or Sunday, that'll be 1:30 a.m. - 5:30 a.m. for me. Either way I'll be able to make it. I don't care when you set it, I could be at work, ... and I'll just leave! lol

This is going to be great to be in a league with a bunch of people that I've been talking to off and on for years now and we all share a common interest... the love for Dolphin football!

after the final preseason game is labor day weekend and that is usually a bad time as most people have plans that weekend.

maybe around the 2nd or 3rd preseason game I was thinking

after 3rd preseason game is better. Gives everyone a better chance to see how rosters are shaking out. After 4th preseason game and final cuts is better to fill out the bottom of the roster for sleeper picks.
