Partial pts works also, I didn't know we were doing that. Anything that avoids ties is cool with me.

.1 per reception works good if ESPN lets you set it up that way.

How about bench points or picking a designated bench player for tie breakers?

we always used bench points to break the tie, but actually there will be no ties (ok maybe a .00001% chance) if we use partial points. Why not do that, and then in the event of a tie use bench points? I don't like having other components (ppr, etc) just to break a tie. But that's just me...

I agree. Use partial points then bench points as a tiebreaker.

I changed the missed extra point scoring.

Now I don't see where it states bench points for a tiebreaker. So, are we gonna use some sort of partial scoring? Or just leave it as it and bank on the fact of there being almost no chance of a tie happening?

I am willing to wait till the day before and let ESPN do it. But some wanted me to enter the names on that site Berk posted and let them scramble them then I manually put the order in so we know in advance.


So lets OFFICIALLY put that to a vote now. Which way you want it done? ESPN do it 24 hours out? Or me to do it manually so we know now?

I really don't care one way or the other. So Im letting everyone else decide. Plus with 14 teams, I don't see how it can be "unfair" now that I have thought about it for a week or so. I mean if you pick late you get 2 good players pretty much or pretty close back-to-back. If you pick early you get one stud but then have to wait some 20+ picks before picking again. So there are +/- to either way. Not sure if its an advantage or disadvantage to pick early or late in a 14 team league.

Plus the only way it would seem "unfair" is if I came away with the #1 overall pick so I get the pick of the liter so to speak. And there is only a 1/14 chance of that happening. Other than that i mean how could I make it "unfair" for someone else? I am competiting against everyone, so its like Im gonna help certain people but not others?? Makes no sense.


So far we got 1 vote for knowing in advance. 2 votes for don't care. I will let everyone vote till Monday night and majority wins. Very simple way to solve it.

I trust you (because it really isn't that serious).

If you end up with the 1st pick, then it is what it is, I won't try to say that some how there was foul play involved.

I got some work to do this morning. So later this afternoon I will insert the names on that site Berkley posted and do it then. And I will post the results here when finished and insert them on our ESPN page.

When is our draft again??? I can't wait this should be a good league 14 strong will be interesting to see how the draft comes out!!

OK, the draft order has been set on the ESPN website. We are all set to go.

DRAFT is currently set for Sunday, Aug 29th at 9:15pm. That ok for everyone? Granted finding a day and time for 14 people is IMPOSSIBLE. So as long as its good for "most" I won't change it.

Everyone go over all the scoring one more time. Let me know if you think anything should be changed. If you have any ideas.

I haven't touched the possible "TIE" thing. I think the odds of a tie are slim, and I don't want to screw with the scoring for something that probably won't happen. But if anyone has any ideas on this....speak now

Looks like Mikeo wants to kick me from the fantasy league do to his dislike of me, I hope that he doesnt do such a childish move.

I am/was looking forward to giving some stiff competition, but it looks like Mikeo will have his way??

I regret to the guys that if Mikeo does this, that not only will your season be that much easier, you wont get to see how Mikeo's critical thinking of building a team versus my critical thinking of building a team.


Yes I was looking forward to beating Mikeo, but It looks like that will not happen now.

It is to bad that somone let his personal feelings get in the way of some fun competition.

I know I was shocked as well Berkeley223, but because I warned some posters on here not to get into it with Mikeo, because he will complain about it to the mods, he sent me a PM stating that last remark just got you kicked from our fantasy league?

I know I was like seriously mike, your the Commish, and just because a guy announce's advice to others, because of the stuff you do, your going to kick the guy from the fantasy league.

I know Berekeley I'm upset about it too, I also think its childish, and you never let your personal feelings get involved when it comes to business.

I don't know what to tell ya Berkeley I was looking forward to our draft as well, but this curveball was thrown.??

I don't want to get involved. I'm sure MikeO has good reasons and since he is the one doing all of the work to set this up, which is just for fun anyway, I think it's his perogative to pick who he wants in the league.
