1831. Re: Trades
i thought we just witnessed year 1 of the rebuild. we're entering year 2 with 5 picks in the first 100 and nearly 47mm in cap room. This offseason will define the phins for the next 4-5 years. i hope philbin has a lot of input on personnel decisions because i don't trust ireland.

belichick was a raving lunatic when the replacements called the games. he's much calmer now that he knows he'll be getting preferrential treatment.

tannehill was one armon binns perfectly thrown back shoulder td pass dropped from having similar stats to brady. no they don't have all world wrs but they have a system in place that made matt cassel look good. i don't think i saw brady complete more than 2 passes that traveled more than 5 yds down field. if marino played in this offensive friendly era he'd have thrown for 6000 yds and 6

reggie needs to become that 3rd down back from the past like nathan was. he's more valuable catching balls out of the backfield.

this is a stupid thing to complain about. 1000 yards is averaging 62.5/game. big deal.

if we follow green bay's model we won't break the bank for a running back. it'll be by committee. miller, thomas, thigpen and a mid round draft pick will hold down the fort. why cave to reggie's contract demands when his clone is on the roster at league minimum?

the browns are going to clean house panthers? tennessee? detroit? jets? wisenhunt will get canned by the cards and lovie smith if they miss the playoffs. there's going to be a lot of openings. if sherman does get a HC job we should look at shurmur from the browns. didn't he come from the wco in green bay?

did you also notice that on a couple of tannehill's non designed runs it was because matthews didn't know the play and ran the wrong route? those kind of things get your qb hurt and that's why you just don't play rookies for the hell of it to see what they have.

it's the pros. you earn playing time. if these guys were good enough the'd be in the games. once miller learns how to block he'll get more time. once egnew quits being a woman he'll see the field. seriously, how good can matthews be? we have one of the worst wr units in the league and this guy gets a few snaps a game. you set a bad precedent if you cave on everything you've stood f

i don't but the pats are hard enough to stop as it is. i think it has to be demoralizing when you do stop them on 3rd down the refs extend the drive. they scored on their 1st 3 possessions. 2 of those were after 3rd down bail out penalties. the complexion of the game changes if it's only 10-0. no wonder belichick hated the replacement refs.

Luck makes stupid rookie mistakes every week. he also makes great plays. rg3 is a read option qb. once that run thread is gone from all the pounding he'll actually have to make his progressions and become a real QB. wilson is the same though he's a better pure pocket passer than rg3. neither of those two throw it more much more than 20x a game. i agree with mayock. our offense is pla

i agree about the replacements. with a little more experience they would have been fine but now you know why coaches like belichick we're going nuts every game. texans/pats is a perfect example. ne scored on their first 3 drives. gruden was ripping the texans for not being able to get off the field on 3rd down. problem is they did 2 out of those 3 drives but the refs decided to extend them

LB was left off the list and I think we need a playmaking MLB. Dansby is one of the most overpaid players in the league. Misi is a bust too. So LB and speed at wr.

I disagree with Wake. He's an 'A' player. Other than that your list was spot on. I have zero confidence in Ireland rebuilding this roster. Hopefully Philbin has a lot of input. I see us making a 2-3 yr offer to Greg Jennings. I wouldn't be surprised to see more GB FAs offered similar deals. Aside from that I don't see us spending big $$$ on top tier FAs. That's now how GB has built

this team wasn't expected to win 4 games this year. they have very little talent. they overachieved and went 4-3 and expectations changed. it didn't change the fact that this team still has very little talent and that won't change until the offseason. the only way the phins are going to win is if they have a positive turnover ratio and some luck.

So what do you guys suggest? Bench Tannehill for Moore...a career backup with no ceiling? Scrap the whole thing, package some picks to move up to get the next Mark Sanchez from USC? Sweet christ. This is a young team devoid of talent. Hartline is a #2 at best, bess a slot wr. Fasano is not a threat. We have no deep threat. They're 50mm under the cap and have an extra 2 and 3 in
