You said..."Once it was 1:21 first and 10 on our own 27 yard line, Detroit was playing with house money and it was our clock." I can't disagree more. DET had 1:21 with ONE timeout. That's not a lot of time when you're on the 27 yard line and it's still not a chip shot field goal. At this point, if they throw an incompletion on first down, they almost HAVE to run it on second down b

I'm not the one that's confused. 1:27 left and they're in fg range, I'll give them the damn fg. What I don't want is to give them extra plays by using OUR timeouts. See results genius.

Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! It's not your clock if you can't stop then from running the clock out. He called the first TO on a first and 10 with 1:21 left. Then another on 1st and 10 with 47s left. They have 3 downs now to run 47s then kick a fg. Make them kick the fg and go to ot. Why would you give then two to's with the clock running out? Why?

Read an article the other day that compared dansby, burnette, and Ellerbe stats in Miami against their stats with other teams. The bottom line is that they all get worse in Miami. Why? COACHING.

What has Philbin done to warrant another shot? It all starts with the head coach. The offensive game planning, the defensive game planning, the locker room catastrophe, everything. As a head coach at the highest level of football in the world, How can you not motivate your team to win one of the last two games against subpar teams? As much as I despise Rex Ryan, my hat's of to him for winn

...why is Danielle Thomas the number two RB on this team? I've never seen an easier to tackle BIG(?) running back in my life. He's a bust if there ever was. Why can't these coaches see that?

If Warmack's available (which he won't be) we'd be crazy not to snatch him up. Pouncy, Warmack, and Incognito would immediately be the best interior OL in the league.

I watched it last year during the season quite a bit. Don't remember it having a lot of the content you mention. But if I remember correctly, it was an hour show and to be able to fill a full hour at this time of the year, I'm sure they're having to do some 'creative' productions. Anything and everything NFL is on the table.

Unbelievable. Revis will NOT be a Jet in 2014. He will opt out of his contract and they can't tag him. What do they have to gain? One year with him in their defensive backfield? On the other hand, it seems to me that the Bucs and whoever else is interested would do better to let him play another year with the Jets to see how he's recovered before paying him big money PLUS a 1st and 3rd.

With the FA pass rush market depressed as it is, Dumervil's contract blunder is getting more costly by the day. I don't see him getting anywhere near the 8 mil he missed in Denver.

Statistics aside, I live in NC and work with a lot of Panther fans and they don't have a lot of good things to say about him.

Not to take anything away from Kaepernick but Alex "freaking" Smith had this team in the super bowl last year.

Either take a shot at RAW talent (Patterson, Ansah, etc) at twelve or get Warmack. The OL definitely needs help and Warmack will make an immediate impact BUT he won't sell tickets.

Bess is guaranteed 3.5 mil next year so, if the numbers listed at the start of the thread are close to being accurate (Jennings 8 mil and Welker 7 mil), we could trade Bess and have Jennings and Welker for the same price as Wallace and Bess. To me, Jennings/Hartline/Welker looks a lot better than Wallace/Hartline/Bess. Add Patterson at 12 (Jennings/Hartline/Welker/Patterson) and we go from the

Just wondering I got headaches from my first high school helmet in the '80's until I convinced the coaches that this had never happened to me and that I believed it was b/c the helmet put too much

Yeah, I thought it was funny that he was crying about the 'no call' at the end of the game when he didn't see to have a problem with the 'no call' at the beginning of the game when Chris Culliver held Torrey Smith and prevented a likely TD grab.

Harbaugh was, in fact, handed a roster with a lot of talent. I heard a discussion about all the talent on the KC Chiefs on NFL radio the other day too and look at their record this year. There are a lot of teams with great talent that underachieve (like the 49ers did before 2011). It takes a great coach to motivate and scheme with the that talent. Belichick is a perfect example of a coach t

Interesting numbers. Thanks for posting these Mark. There are two that stand out to me... First, how is Martin the 72nd ranked OT? There are only 64 starting in the league. Does that mean he's worse than some of the backups too? Second, Tannehill is 13th among qb's! That's very impressive for a rookie. Any other year, that'd be remarkable but with the possibility of three rookies leading

Not a beaten down fan. Just not enamored with the coaching staff. Yeah, the ref should've gotten the call right but at the end of the day they didn't and that's what challenges are there for. That was third down and by not challenging, he cost us 4 points. Not to mention the confidence boost to the defense.

There was one play yesterday where Reggie lined up as a wideout and was covered by a linebacker. Tannehill threw the ball his way but the pass was behind him. Bush can beat that coverage every time. Why wouldn't we go back to that play?
