That's right chambers. But that was on Philbin for not challenging it at the time.

Agree. If Moore starts after Tannehill injury, I do believe we're a playoff team. But Ireland hitched his wagon to RT and needs to showcase his ability, not take a chance on getting to the playoffs with someone else. Think about it, if we didnt make the playoffs with Moore, tannehill's lost all that game experience. If we did make the playoffs with Moore, what happens next year? Stay with Moor

They held the number 1 offense in the league to 23 points. I'd give the defense a break this week.

Bess's 3rd down debacle could've been significant as well. Seen him do that a lot this year. JUST GET THE EFFIN FIRST DOWN!

Philbin should have challenged. He would've won. Hernandez knee was down half yard short.

I wouldn't have a problem with Philbin benching bush if, like parmalee, he had three fumbles in the first 3 games. Difference is...he was benched in the 9th game for his third fumble and it seems he's still being punished for it now with limited pt I don't think his stance on this subject alone makes him a bad coach, I have other reasons as well. But my opinion, at this point of his career, is

Truth, your comparisons are not that comparable. First, AP had 19 fumbles in two seasons and 6 fumbles by the time that article was written (12/3) before there was even a discussion o whether he should be benched. Was he benched? NO! Why? Probably because Childress knew that he couldn't take his best player off the field and may be fired if he did. Nevermind the fact that childress is no long

There isn't a decent coach in this league that benches his best offensive weapon after three turnovers in a 9 game stretch. Imagine the Vikings benching AP...or the Browns benching Richardson...or the Texans benching Foster. Sounds crazy, right? That's because it'll never happen! If there's no other reason for Bush's lack of pt than a few fumbles, Philbin is NOT going to make it as a head coac

I didn't hear Peter complaining about the "NO-CALL" when Golden Tate practically raped RJ Stanford to make that catch that Tim Ryan thought was so great! The hit on RT was, by NFL rules, a blow to the head of the QB. Incidental or not...it had to be called. Whether it deserves a fine? That's another story. The NFL couldn't suspend Suh for the kick to Schaub's nads b/c they believ

Definitely should've been a penalty. Can't hit QB's in the head area whether it's accidental or not. Probably shouldn't have been fined though.

Asked this same question after the Arizona game. How many punts have you seen Thigpen muff this year? None! Yet we continue to see Davone "concrete shoes" Bess return punts inside the 20. Good coaching. No one else in the league does it. Why?

In my mind, the jury's still out on Tannehill. And, to be fair, Jaworski didn't say that he was a great quarterback either. Just that he showed some consistency early on.

You asked for opinions based playoff strategy but after watching this team the last two weeks, IMO we're not close to a playoff team. So, I HAVE to base my thought on who I like the least and my pecking order goes Jets, Pats, Bills, Cowboys, 49ers, etc. and based solely on that alone, I will have to marginally pull for NE. There's just something about watching Rex and company writhe in defeat

It's so funny to me when people blame a running back for his style when right across the field there's another running back with the exact same style GASHING our defense. Wonder if the Buffalo fans are complaining about the way CJ Spiller danced his way to 91 yards last night?

Finishing 4-12 all changed when we got above .500 in most fans minds. Everyone began thinking that maybe we got the better of the first round QB's and that RT would have a really good rookie season and that all of the critics were wrong about how raw he is. The last three games changed my perception of the learning curve Tannehill faces.

I've been saying all year that it doesn't make sense to have Bess returning punts. I understand the argument that he has better hands, live ball, etc. Thigpen hasn't had a problem with catching the ball! All he's done is return a kickoff and a punt in the same season. The guys electric and can run. Which brings me to another point...Why doesn't he get any playing time on offense? If he can mak

You asked if theres anyone who can call every play. I can't call them all but EVERY time Tannehill changed the play at the los, it was TO a run and for a loss nearly every time.

The only thing close was the score. The lowly Bills put a beat down on this team. Just like the lowly Titans. I said in another post that we'd win this game and one more (Jags). If something doesn't change we won't even win that one.

I think we win Thursday but like Eesti says, until we can beat some good teams, we'll continue to hover around .500 A couple weeks ago when we our record stood at 4-3 and could have easily been 5-1, I felt really good about the possibility of turning this thing around. At that time, looking at our schedule, I thought we'd beat Indy, Tennessee, and Buffalo (games we should won) and we'd go to 7

They can always do what the officials did in the panthers/bears game. Blow the whistle and act like you didn't. What a joke that was. Aside from the length of games, I actually preferred the replacements. At least they had an excuse for how bad they sucked. Seriously though, I'm pretty sure number 2 is not reviewable under the current rules. iirc, there was a big deal made about that spec
