It looked to me that Mathews got 2 feet down on that critical 3rd down. It looked close enough to challenge anyway!! That was a HUGE moment in the game and it was worth the risk! O looks good on opening drive into the redzone, then looks dominated even when given multiple chances thanks to TB penalties, and still have to settle for a FG. Very Sparano-like. He still holds a grudge against Ireland because of the Harbaugh incident. Because he and Ross spoke w him "behind Sparano's back". The last time I checked, team owners can do whatever the hell they want to do. Sparano had been a crap coach that Parcells saddled us with, and then bailed. If anything, Ireland and Ross are the ones who should be holding the grudge!
