Fact is this team is 0-3 ... the chances of making the playoffs in a division with the 3-0 Jets and the still-dangerous Patriots was likely nil. Its time to let the young guys play. so, bringing in a Jeff Garcia doesn't make sense. Why have him sit on the bench? A veteran presence? To help teach the young guys? Well, we already have that... Pennington will be there on the sidelines with his ba

When has a player that has shown he is all about money EVER been super productive?? Now, you want somebody with a me-first/money-first attitude who has never played a single down in the NFL and you want to make him one of the top 10 paid receivers in the NFL?? No, Thanks... I'd take a flyer on him in the second round next year... (and offer him 2nd round money) If he wants to suck it up,

He's on PUP, you won't hear anything on him until about week 5... he'll either be ready to go a few weeks after that or he'll be going to IR.

The problem is we are trying to fit a square peg in a round hole... We have solid slot receivers in Camarillo/Bess... and we have a deep threat in Ginn. The Problem is we do not have anyone to go over the middle, consistently move the chains and make the clutch play on the intermediate routes. In other words we don't have a go-to guy (aka #1 receiver.) Ginn has his value. Despite him no

Ok, fellow fin fans... any advice on the following situation: I have: J. Cotchery @ NO V. Jackson @ Pit K. Walter vs. Oak B. Marshall vs. Dal I need to pick 3 from the list in a PPR league. I'm leaning towards the top 3, but Marshall looks to be finally picking it up and Jackson is a tough play @ Pit. What would you do?

The SKY is FALLING!! The Sky is FALLING!!! Foe everyone predicting doom and gloom because of the outcome of this, you need a reality checl. The NFL already has a partial anti-trust exemption and in many facets of their business operate as one big entity. This MINOR case will have little to no effect on other areas of the NFL's business.

The whole reasoning for the owners opting out of the agreement is they believe the players are getting paid too much as is... I really don't see any of them breaking ranks and opening up the coffers to give any record-breaking deals in an uncapped year. Also, if they plan on negotiating back to a CAPPED system, they will have to keep that in mind with any new deals. It wouldn't make any sense

Im looking for Sproles to have the big game. Our defense hasn't been able to stop screen passes and our linebackers are slow to react and cant tackle. I see a lot of short passes to Sproles going for loooooong yardage.

The reason they do this is because, yes, he is fast... but more importantly its because he hasn't shown an ability to kill teams with the underneath routes. He has a propensity for dropping the ball (especially if a defender recognizes the underneath route and comes up and hits him), he is not shifty enough to make tacklers miss, and he almost always goes down at first contact. All of those th

I know it has been discussed before and comments from Sparano seem to imply that RB will continue to "operate" the Wildcat by taking the snaps. Which makes sense, because the primary advantage of the Single Wing is the extra blocker it gives you allowing the runner a better chance of success between the tackles. We know RB is going to be a better runner in this role. However, someth

The strength of schedule is the most meaningless stat there is... it is based on LAST YEAR'S teams and who THEY played. We have a tough schedule because our division played the two weakest division in football last year. So, the Jets, Pats, and Bills all padded their WL record with easy wins against poor teams. Since we play each of them twice it has a significant impact on our SOS. Besides ev

Once again... this thread was locked once for a reason. The discussion has run its course. It is no longer about football and certainly not about the Dolphins, so it does not belong here. Thread closed.

All I have to say is anyone that thinks that there wasn't a majority (if not near 100%) penetration of Steroids ni the MLB is burying their heads in the sand. Hell, even now with players having a headsup about the testing process damn near every major star in the game has STILL failed a test, and the MLB has still failed to release the full list of names (in the 100's) of all players that have

Seriously... i don't see how anyone that eats any kind of meat can sit back and say that killing an animal is the same as killing a human. But, whatever, that opinion is your right... its ok to kill animals that are tasty, but not ok to kill ones that are cute and cuddly. I'm not saying what he did is ok... I don't think it is, but seriously, he did his time in accordance with our laws.

There are players in the NFL that have done a LOT worse than he has... and personally I am sick of the government targetting famous people (especially athletes) and hammering them to the fullest extent of the law for crimes that go completely ignored by everyday citizens, in order to make a name for themselves. What he did wasn't right, but like others have said... its a little different than

You can't make decisions based on what MIGHT happen... especially when it comes to a potential free agent. There is no way of guaranteeing he will come to your team. He can be franchised, re-sign before hitting free agency, or sign with one of the 31 other teams competing for his services. I think the staff has done things right... re-sign your own free agents and build through the draft. More

The thing to keep in mind when talks about extending the season come up, is that it is largely about economics. A 17-week schedule complicated the economics for teams because it means that half the teams would have 1 less home game than the other half of the league. This makes those teams generate less revenue that year... so how do you resolve that issue?? I don't think alternating between th

Buffalo is one of the most depressing towns in the US... someone with obvious mental instability is not going to make it in a place like Buffalo without having some kind of mental breakdown.
