The NFL season is BY FAR the shortest in professional sports... which is confusing being as it is the most popular among the mainstream team sports. Plus, this really isn't making the season longer (for the players) it is taking two meaningless games nobody cares to watch, and making them competitive. I would take Vick... AS A WR/RB. He was never that great of a QB... and I don't think he ever can be. With his history, nobody is going to take a chance on him with a high-dollar long term contract, so getting him at a bargain price, it would be worthwhile to experiment with him ad see if he is better suited to a skill position, as many (like me) think he is.
