Pouncey's a good pick he did not get a lot of 'shine' this year because he played out of position at C. For him to be picked at 15 and he played his entire Sr year at a new position says something about the guy.

2432. Re: pouncy
Pouncey is a good pick. Too bad we could not trade down he would have been ther 6-7 picks later. He played much better at guard than center so I hope we move him there. He will be good one in my opinion.

How I see it or better how I would draft them. I'm thinking we trade down w/ someone (NO / T and pick up a 2nd rounder. 1. Pouncey G Fl 2. Gates WR Abilene Christian 3. Stocker TE TN 4. Carter RB Syracuse or best RB available 5. Allan CB Citadel 6. Thomas LB Stanford 7. Devlin QB DE 7b Evans RB VA Tech 7c Williams G NE don't bite on any of the q

again stay away from WAC and MWC qb's. I really don't think folks have seen much film of Kapernick. They like the sound of his name or something.

I'll say it again no WAC or MWC qb's

Cool the guy let it be known he does not want to play for the phins. No problem these guys have very little control of where they will play and skipping out on a team is one way to control where you play I have no problem with them doing it.

People are not saying that about Pouncey because he played his Sr year out of position at center

I'm a Syracuse fan. Jarvis had a good thing going at GWU should have stayed there a couple of more years. He was not ready for the city.

Jarvis is a good coach but not sure he will get more out of that program than Haith did. Haith is a good coach, his situation reminds me of Jimmy Johnson leaving OK State for UM. A good coach getting a bigger stick. Haith should do well at Mizzou. If Jarvis comes he will be out of UM in 3-4 years.

Good stuff, first time I have seen someone print Gabberts missing downfield receivers. That is what I noticed when I saw more film of him. Cam is definately better at dropping the ball into the WR hands on long throws. Wonder what's going on w/ Mallet what's the truth on this guy. I still like him and Newton. Locker, don't understand the man crush a lot of guys have on this guy. Ponde

The players 'ARE' the nfl they are ones who fill the seats. Not one person is paying a dime to see the owners. This is not some jiffy lube or Mickeys D where I can go out and replace a chump in a day. My issue is w/ the portrayal of the playes that many folks have. Overpaid bums that spend there money on gold grills and crap. Their sacrifice is what makes this game and as far as I am concerne

'People should really learn the issues before they comment' this is the new America .. the dumber, louder and most uninformed jackass carries the most weight these days. No one cares that the owners get a clear billion dollars out of the gate. 1 billion dollars for 32 guys, that they say they use to 'expand the game'. But they are crying they are losing money but are unwilling to open their l

Stuff the wonderlic all it does is give nobodies another reason to throw rocks at the players. Both Marino and Jim Kelly scored a 15 if memory serves me right.

Do you guys watch SEC football. Jones a bust? Crabtree was better. All Crabtree had to do was sprint downfield and catch. Neither Jones or Green had all American qb's and played in the toughest conference in the land. The same one Newton and Mallet play in.

No trades until the player's and owners get it together. Armando Salguero is an idiot that should be covering middle school soccer not the NFL. He is no Ed Pope. The best we could do if we acquired a veteran is McNabb.

I actually think we can bypass picking a qb in the first rnd this year. All of thse guys will take time to develop and I am not throwing Henne out the window yet. 'My money's on Mallet. Newton has his own set of character concerns, but few are reporting on those.' I think sports writer's are tired of reporting Newtons character issues. Don't know what you read but they were reported in all

this is about the most accurate QB assesment that I have seen. If not accurate it agrees almost 100% as I see this years class. Newton - the best and then you will have to put some time in there Gabbert - folks are going ga ga over this guy over post season workouts but they should watch som film Kaepernick - I can not say stay away from MW and WAC qb'a. How many

Mia1 "and well I bet his Wonderlic is going to not be good" Wonderlics not sh*t Jim Kelly, Dan Marino and Bradshaw all had below average scores. Why can you not let this thing play out. You will either be right 'hooray' or wrong 'hooray'. Cam's list of accomplishments will still be longer than your unless of course you are actually Peyton Manning, wo also by the way if me memory is

Penny is about it. Fiedler was tough but stupid does not get you far in the nfl. Fiedler was bad goods when we got him, why the hell would you fall in love w/ someone elses 3rd string qb and make him your starter. He was what he was and that was wasted time. I thought Brian Griese could have done some things if the staff had backed him.

Pennington was the only one who could hold his own and win games for us. Feidler stunk, might have been gutsy but he stunk. Threw as many int's as td's. We had some winning seasons but you could thank the D for that.

not a Pat White fan but he really seemed like a good kid. He was not some arrogant jerk. He came in tried, failed and left. I respect what he did at WV. He is gone let him go. He did nothing to dishonour the phins. Just let the guy go on. Yeah he might have stunk but so did Jay Feidler, Beck etc

Anyone who says Pat White sucks is a p****. You would find out if you compared yourself to him. The guy was athletic enough to get a shot at MLB and the NFL. Very few people have done that. Yeah the phins front office was stupid for drafting him in the second rnd not his fault. I suppose all you guys that like to whine and says that he sucks were Div 1 starting qbs and a good enough athlete to

I'm on hold w/ Mallett right now. I want more assurances that he is not a character risks. This stuff was popping up last year and I do not want a Ryan Leaf. I did not like what he did at the combine interview.

'What has Gabbert did to show he is better than Newton, Locker or mallet? Chase Daniels was better and where is he?' True I think folks should take a hard look at some Gabbert film. The poster is not comparing him to Daniels but saying Daniels was better than him. Hell in some ways I like Brad Smith better than Gabbert and I have been following Mizzou football since the Phil Bradley days.

RB not sure we need o-lineman maybe a center I think our o-line problem is in the coaching.
