Date: April 07, 2011 07:28AM Phinsfan part of the problem about UM b-ball is that no one cares about it. I'd be suprised if anyone on the board watches it. I am a huge UM football fan but couldn't name 1 player on the bball team.
That said, at least Jarvis is a "name" coach and has had success so I'd be fine with the hire. This guy he is replacing seemed pretty mediocre at best. Re: Non-football question for U of M fans

Date: April 07, 2011 10:32AM Jarvis is a good coach but not sure he will get more out of that program than Haith did. Haith is a good coach, his situation reminds me of Jimmy Johnson leaving OK State for UM. A good coach getting a bigger stick. Haith should do well at Mizzou. If Jarvis comes he will be out of UM in 3-4 years. Re: Non-football question for U of M fans

Date: April 07, 2011 11:37AM I'm a Syracuse fan. Jarvis had a good thing going at GWU should have stayed there a couple of more years. He was not ready for the city. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
