Why do we waste so much time in the two minute drill? This mystifies me.

Agressive playcalling is not a bad thing but throwing to a slow WR with saftey help 30 yard down the field and BADLY overthrowing that WR is a bad play. So is allowing Welker to catch a 58 yard pass...single coverage on Welker with a LB is a mistake.

Terrible throw by Henne...Bess isn't that fast!

I agree. We need to hit Brady every time he touches the ball.

I don't mind the trick plays but I do mind the situations where we try them. Pat White was brought in to be a backup quarterback. If anyone expected him to be good in his rookie season without playing time then they were simply diluting themselves. White needs to sit on the sideline and learn...plain and simple. The Pats are really exposing our linebackers today...we need major help there. And

Yes the Pats that got Shillacked Monday night. They are still good enough that with a couple of key additions they will be very dangerous next season and most of those additions simply need to be on defense. The fact is that the Pat's are playing better and better right now despite losing to the Saints. The Phins have been getting worse for a few weeks now. Hence the two teams going in different

I hate to say this but we really don't have much hope of winning this weeks game...lord, I really hope I am wrong here, but I see two teams headed in different directions at the moment. The Phins simply don't have enough difference makers on the roster right now and the one's we do have aren't. We have built a solid foundation and a few unassuming ground floors. Now we must add the upper le

I wanted us to draft Brees AND Rivers...I was pissed when we didn't take either. But then again I wanted us to draft Drew Henson too.

Ginn, Hartline and Bess need to be kept... for now. Turner we know next to nothing about. In this years draft we need to get one or two premium WR's and/or sign the best F/A out there. These guys must have size (6'0 or taller), speed (4.4 or better) and hands...at a minnimum they would serve to push Ginn, Bess and Hartline but they should be brought in with an "eye" toward replacing

I just looked at the long pass to Ginn in the fourth quarter...the ball was underthrown by Henne...another two yards down the field and it's completed with Ginn off to the races. This team must get some pleyers so the margin of error is a bit bigger...right now it's waaayyyyyy too small.

Unless they play considerably better than they did today...8-8 is not possible. If we get more of the same old same old we may only have a chance to win one more game.

I looked at the play a number of times and it looked to me like Ginn reset before the snap...not all his fault in any event but he does need to tighten up his game.

This may seem overly simplistic (and I'm sure that it is) but here are the reasons for (at least some of) our troubles. 1. WR's and TE's (as a group) that can't reliably get open within the first five yards at least 80% of the time. 2. Not enough depth at key positions...yet. (NT, C, and OG) this really hurts us when injuries happen to players we can't replace. 3. Pass rush that is not c

Ginn is a great kick returner...I realize they don't count but there were what four kicks returned for touchdowns his rookie season that were called back for stupid penalties? If not for stupid mistakes by other people he'd be regarded as the most dangerous kick retruner in the game today. Now, if he could just work on some solid receiver skills... As for Roth... I wish him well, just no

Parcells didn't do much to really cement his legacy as a winner in New York or Dallas either. Both of those programs never took the final steps with him and he was only sightly better in New England. The real problem with Parcells is that he never sticks around long enough to get the teams he works for all the way to where they need to be...let's hope he does the job all the way here.

We don't even get to complain about Ginn this week because he caught everything and made some nice catches. Good for him making positive plays when given the chance...

Well, while this is a major blow to the team as far as versatility goes. Williams can IMHO carry the load for the rest of the season. Hilliard showed in the pre-season that he can be counted upon to add punishing running and "some" big play ability to the team if called upon. The question here is how high (or low) will they be able to set the bar...this also gives Pat White a much large

Peyton didn't have an amazing night against us...he had an amazing handfull of plays and four or five perfect throws. He was certainly efficient but you'd expect that from him.

They can be and they usually are...Punters are usually the backup kicker for most teams. It just helps the quality of the players when you are allowed to specailize. It also gives teams depth at the positions.

We also have to look at the fact that if we had drafted Quinn he'd be in the position Henne is in right now...everything being equal we still get Pennington because the current coaches didn't want to go with a rookie so soon. Also we still have the talent we have now minue Ginn so Quinn would have had a chance to sit and learn as Henne has...who knows maybe we still draft Henne and have Penningto

If I am the coach I let Porter sit another week. Not because I think he's done or can't play anymore but because it gives him more time to heal up...then I'd make it clear that despite tenure, pedegree or whatever, the best players (read most productive) play each week...if that leaves Porter as the odd man out then so be it...even though I'd still rotate him into games now and then. Players w

Yeah he does make adjustments, in the second half of games they start letting receivers catch the ball. They get a lead and then go into a shell with the three and four rushers trying to flood the secondary with cover guys (bend but don't break). It shows the coaches have little confidence in the players to make plays and stick people. Then adding in the mistakes made and the time the defense

With better skill position players on offense we get a lot more conventional more of the time IMHO, even though the wildcat will also become more effective with better players....I don't think we should throw out anything we are doing. We just need more speed, quickness and elusive players.

I have to agree with Ranger here...the undefeated season is THE milestone in all of sports...period. No team can claim it except us...thats worth cherishing and sacraficing to protect and preserve. If I have to see the Pats win (despite what I think of them as a team) to help preserve it, then so be it.
