we'll see... for not having o-line depth... it doesn't make a lot of sense unless the up and comers are up and ready

Favre has thrown for a lot more INTs than Marino... they are not in the same league... Marino had the better arm and football mind, Favre had the longer lasting body

the chiefs will rebound if the o-line holds up as they have a QB now.... Dallas, MN, Pittsburg will falter..... NE might get 11 wins again, Pitt won't be so hot because they are getting OLD fast Baltimore wins the AFC North

The small draft classes and the high number of high priced free agents make the Jets a WIN NOW team, and will crumble within 2-3 years, sooner if they continue to bring in ne'er-do-wells and Sanchez doesn't rise fast, and a little later if Sanchez plays ok, but the Jets remind me of the Dolphins about 9-10 years ago... small draft classes with lots of free agents will lead to a tumble and a fired

funny how the 2007 draft makes the 2006 and 2008 drafts look SO much better

an optimistic 9-7 due to easy schedule in 2008, relatively injury free, surprising and effective playcalling (unlike the previous 3 seasons, YIKES), and overall overachievement I hope Miami can make the playoffs again, but I think they will come down to earth, though will probably be statistically better offensively and defensively, but not in turnover margin

actually a 4th USC lb was taken, so Maualuga wasn't last

i'm certainly hoping so, but it isn't likely.... the only AFC East team getting worse is the Bills

yikes... I don't know why any team would trade with New England any more.... it shows how good Miami was to get picks away from them

its too bad: Miami couldnt get anything back for him, and he had to play during the worst Dolphin year ever..... and is a good guy more 2nd rounders spent on QBs.... Miami still can't seem to get it right

he's smart and plays hard..... typical Iowa player, not the greatest athlete, makes up for it with hard work and smarts (hawkeyes fan here) I hope Miami signs him

I was a bit upset about only 1 linebacker, but I forgot about Cameron Wake..... so it does make sense how it went down, I just feel that Pat White would have been available later....

keep in mind if pat white can play qb,wr, and line up at running back... that's 3 positions.... he can be no.3 qb, no.3 or 4 wr, and no.3 rb that's a lot of versatility..... which means you can have more players for lb, ol, and dl i would have preferred massaquoi or an lb here, but 2 cbs tells you that the FO is addressing the secondary problem

he's a great run blocking right tackle.... who got moved to left side... so there you go. philly NEEDED tackles, buffalo needs to move an upset player and drop salary.

either way, at least Miami is on primetime with 4 games this year, I had to watch most games over the Internet!

The maturity issues with Davis bother me as well..... I think Miami will shop the pick, particularly if there is a team behind that is coveting a player that more than one team wants, but Miami does not.... I don't think Denver will draft Moreno, they have FAR too many defensive issues, and probably aren't way too happy with Orton.

I say its Sammie Smith. Milner sucked as well. The most upsetting pick is Fletcher. I wanted Brees (didn't every dolphins fan?)! I remember the reasoning: Miami has to play Indy twice a year and so needs a nickel corner. Not even a starter. Blah

Cutler has good stats, but not the win/loss percentage. Part of that is due to an incomplete team, but also he had several untimely turnovers that cost or severely hurt the Broncos last year. Also, the win vs San Diego shouldn't count because of officiating errors.

Fasano tied for the 2nd with 7 TE touchdowns..... and some of them were great catches (LAST JETS GAME!), he should be back, the others are all getting old or are replaceable, like Roth. Henne is the projected starter, so maybe the Dolphins will get those compensatory picks!

his value as a backup is greater, especially due to his being on a rookie contract....

TERRY KIRBY JOHN AVERY seriously though, that I have actually watched: Barry Sanders. E. Smith had the best line in the game, so that is a discount. Ricky Williams the year he had over 1800 was phenomenal as well. Lamar Smith's 200+ in the playoff game vs the Colts was the best individual performance I've seen for a dolphin.
