I think Tbow is big enough and athletic enough to block, catching and running routes might be a different story. Unless he takes handoffs and plays fullback. It won't be pretty . grinning smiley

I don't think on the active roster of a Super Bowl contender who just lost its top two TE's is the place for a guy to learn how to play TE.

Its really not fair to Tebow.

I think if he makes the Pats it will be as a 3rd string QB.

I really don't think he has much of a shot of making it as a TE.

If he wants to switch positions he should go to Canada for a few seasons and then come back.

if not for brady, I see the pats as a 5 win team. with him, maybe 8 or 9. they have no talent at wr or te whatsoever. I see the phins as the favorite to win the afc east

This was a cold blooded murder as the victim was surrounded by Hernandez and his thugs and Hernandez shot him three times, the first going through his hand as he raised it to protect himself.

This scumbag deserves the death penalty but I doubt it exists in Massachusetts but I know it did when I practiced there as a certified third year law student attorney in the Third District Court for the County of Middlesex.

there's no death penalty in Mass. If there were 3 people there and one shot him but they can't prove which of the 3, can they get the other 2 on felony murder (what would the felony be)? don't remember this stuff from law school.

I heard (on local sports talk radio) that two of the shots hit him after he was already on the ground.

AND that they are not necessarily charging AH as if he pulled the trigger but as if he orchestrated and ordered the murder. Kind of like Charles Manson type of thing...he allegedly didn't pull the trigger but is responsible. Also heard they did not recover the weapon--not sure if that's true, but they have video of AH holding a gun near his house plus shell casings in the rental car that match those at the murder scene. At the very least he's guilty of possessing gun without a permit but they probably have much more evidence.

NFL.com has gone as far as clearing his stats from ever existing. Virtually erasing him from the NFL altogether.

This guy has got to be sitting in his cell with his face in his hands asking himself WTF DID I DO?!?!

Maybe the first time he shot someone in the face. But now I'm convinced he doesn't even realize how evil he is.

So Hernandez was at my favorite post Dolphin game destination prior to shooting his "other" friend....Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami Gardens.

With friends like AH...who needs friends?

Somewhat complicated. Felony murder cannot be predicated on any felony that is assaultive behavior such as assault or battery and the victim dies. It has to be a felony other than hitting someone because if NOT then you could kick a guy in the knee, a blood clot forms goes to his heart and he dies and the police could charge you with FIRST degree murder based on felony murder. No the felony has to be kidnapping or robbery or something beside hitting someone physically. Of course, as to the killer, you don't need felony murder because he is guilty of murder by virtue of the killing alone.

What felony murder does is to deter the commission of felonies such as robbery or burglary. You burglarize a home and the little old lady inside sees you and has a heart attack, that's felony murder even though no one even touched her.

So the guys with him cannot be guilty of felony murder.

HOWEVER, they can be guilty of first degree murder without firing a shot based on being accomplices or accessories.

Let's discuss accessories first. There are two types of accessories. Before the fact and after the fact.

Before the fact is much heavier. Your responsibility is THE SAME as the killer.

After the fact, like hiding evidence as in the marathon bombing case, is much less responsibility, still a felony but not as bad.

If these guys knew that he went over to either shoot the guy or beat him up, you are an accessory BEFORE THE FACT and you do every bit of time that the shooter does.

Now there are also ACCOMPLICES. Let's suppose there is no pre plan to kill. Let's suppose A - hole, err AH, goes over there with his posse and a fight breaks out AH pulls out a gun and says, "I'm going to kill you." THE victim knocks the gun out of his hand.

A member of the posse picks it up off the floor and gives it to Hernandez who then shoots the guy to death. You are an accomplice and you do the same prison term as the shooter.

LOL. The Guy is a Huge POS anyway you slice it Chyrenne. He just went from NFL Tight End , to Prison receiver. The sad thing is that this is not his first Victim. This was not some Kid who was hit in the head in college and lost his Temper outside a bar. He went to this guys house, picked him up , and pre meditated killing him. It makes no sense from anyone in his position and age. Other then he is a really evil animal that needs to be locked up and forgotten about.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

ABC is saying the motive behind this murder is possibly that the victim was talking to people about his knowledge of the suspected double homicide that Hernandez was a part of. Basically AH was shutting the guy up. This guy was a straight moron who thought he could get away with anything because of who he was. I hope they bury his ass under the prison.

Just because you are wealthy doesnt mean you want to overpay for items.. In fact many of wealthy people got to be wealthy by being cheap.. Or not wasting money... Which is more foolish the rich guy shopping at Marshall's or blowing 100's of thousands shopping couture?

Classy of the Pats to want to remove him from existence, but his jerseys are selling on ebay right now. Prices are ranging from $132.00 - $299.00 so there's still some "die hard" memorabilia fans of the OJ type that are willing to pay the price.

That's sick. What's this modern generation of Americans coming to?

If this had Happened before the 70's, you wouldn't be able to give those jerseys away.

The only thing you would be able to do is exchange them with the Pats.
