Incorrect. There is a warrant issued for obstruction. He destroyed evidence.
Wow. Just goes to show you because those were creditable news sources that reported he had a warrant. Maybe they thought it was imminent so they jumped the gun?
Reporters these days are just as bad as high schoolers. The urge to be first on a story is even worse now with the 24 hour news cycle. One person in the group says it and viola it's on cnn as fact.
Common sense says if he was linked to the deceased, cleaned his house and destroyed evidence, he's either the one that did it or is friends with the person that did and that it happened at his house.
That's precisely what I mean, Odenn. At the very least, he knows who did it and is destroying evidence. (could be destroying evidence of his own guilt but at least destroying evidence).

I suspect that someone is feeding the police info, which is why they keep returning to gather more evidence and digging deeper. Could even be the cleaning company he hired for all we know - what it was they cleaned & where it was.
Funny how the civil lawsuit from his antics in Fla emerge at the same time - Bad timing for Hernandez. His image isn't very peachy right about now. Apparently the dude in Fla who claims Hernandez shot him covered up for Hernandez at the time for whatever reason, but has decided to sing a different tune now.
I'm wondering if the Fla police will reopen that shooting case. If they already haven't they really should. There could be forensic firearm evidence that links the two. That's if Hernandez was stupid enough to keep the same weapon he was toting around in Fla.

It's fine with me. The Pats might be F'D by beating themselves before the season even starts. Imagine if Mike Wallace was this stupid. We'd be F'D too.
This is exactly why Philbin preaches that good personal character is equally important as talent. Does you no good when you have a talented player who isn't on the field because of poor character & stupidity.
This is where the Pats are kicking themselves in the ass. They're cheapskates who want talent at a bargain price regardless of character. 31 other teams knew Hernandez was a douche which is why he slipped in the '10 draft. Letting Welker walk is going to haunt them this season.
Its weird. When i think of Hernandez getting his house cleaned and destroying evidence, I think about Spy Gate and how the NFL destroyed the tapes. Come on guys, he was just following the procedure the NFL taught him. When confronted with damning evidence, destroy it!!!!

First thing that came into my mind when I heard the story was the Ray Lewis saga.
I don't think he is beating this rap. The Pats must have some inside scoop, if he was arguably innocent in all this, I think they stick with him and let the process play out. We could be looking at another Rae Carruth type thing here.

TCP, as a cop, is it the case that the manner of "arrest" has something to do with whether the cops think the guy did something really bad? They didn't let AH turn himself in, and it seems like they cuffed him without even letting him put a shirt on. Maybe based on what they've learned they think he actually killed the guy?

You are Correct. Good observation! They cuffed him quickly because they thought he might struggle and they didn't want to tussle with a NFL player. I wouldn't either. Then they threw that shirt on over the cuffs for dignity. That definitely spells uncooperative .
Guess this means we'll be seeing Tebow at TE this year. All rivalries and jokes aside, this is a really sad story. A.H. had the world and he threw it away over thug bull shit. As a regular Joe American, i find myself always saying things about being a millionaire making me happy, but this is a great example of how money doesn't always mean happiness. You can take the thug out of the hood but you can't take the hood of the thug.
