I must disagree A&O.
JT was a part time player last year and still came up with 7 sacks.

Depending on what happens with Manning or Flynn, Miami may not be able to afford Winston. They only have $14M to play with.

I'm taking it for granted that is just a guesstimate on Rose's part. He may be right in that it may be the going rate, but hope

Well, the way I look at this is....if he signs with Miami, great; if not, so be it.
I would like to have Peyton on the Dolphins, but if his health isn't good, then what did that accomplish? It's a mighty big chance all these teams are taking.
I'm still not real confident in Miami's Plan B (Flynn). I guess it would come down to dollars.
If not Flynn, then I would gamble and take Tanne

I don't believe signing Manning will be a bad decision, unless (1) he isn't completely healthy, or (2) he is healthy, then one hit messes up his neck again, and he is out. THEN I will believe it to be a bad decision.
If Flynn is signed, he will probably be a good QB, one that can steady the ship, but will he be any better than Moore?

Why would the Rams trade for Manning when they have Bradford?
Brad will be around for a long time, while Manning has only 2-3 years (if he remains healthy).

I just don't agree with drafting a OL at #8 -- just too high. If the guy was a world beater, then OK, but a world beater won't be available at 8.
That pick is for the best guy on the board -- a playmaker; a guy that can change the game. Reif will not do that, and I mention his name because there are at least 3 draft experts who have him going to Miami with their mock drafts. I just don't se

I really don't have a strong conviction in RG III that is he is going to be that next great QB, and that is what is needed if a team is going to give up what they will have to give up in this draft to get him.
It will be at least two #1s, a #3, and others. That is a pretty hefty price to pay. Granted, if Miami did give all that up and he became that elite QB, then sure, it was worth it. B
