213. Re: Tua
I've asked this before, but is Tua worth that number one pick? He went down with that ankle injury, but his replacement killed the team they were playing (sorry, can't remember who they played). I'm not really sold on Tua, but this guy from LSU (Barrows) is turning some heads.

216. Drake
The trade deadline is coming quickly. I can see Miami trading K. Drake; not because he isn't good, but because (1) Miami has a stable of running backs, and it looks like Mark Walton has taken over the starting job, and (2) the coaching staffs from last year and this year, for some reason, don't know how to use him, or they figure he just isn't good enough. The guy can run, he can hit the whole

217. Re: 0-16?
It's "said" that Miami is "Tanking for Tua." I have a feeling the the Fins' brass isn't thinking like that. They for sure will be picking in the top 5, or maybe even the top 2. If Pitt Keeps losing, Mia may get a top 10 pick from them. Before this season, everyone was thinking Tua would be the first pick in the 2020 draft. There were only a couple of other QBs that wer

The Fins are starting to look like an NFL team. It has been taking time for them to work together, and that learning is still going on as Miami continues to have injuries and signing new people. Almost everyday we see the Fins signing another player. I hope the Fins aren't just throwing money around with no hope of these signees remaining on the team. The Fins are gonna have to draft a DB high

219. Re: Tua
I am questioning whether Tua is what many have said him to be. Is he worth the first pick in the draft? What about Hibert (sp)? How about the kid from GA (Fromm?). Hell, maybe a team will be so desperate that they will trade up to get him. Of course, unless it is a team that picks in the first five, Miami cannot do it. Has to be worth it for Miami.

I am not getting too down about this team after only two weeks. What did everyone expect? Personally, I thought they would play somewhat better than they have, but when one looks at what has been going on, its no wonder they are playing so poorly. What stars does Miami have on the team? Maybe Minkah, maybe Wilkins, probably Howard. That's it. The Fins cannot let any of the above go, IMO. Th

The D is the unit that surprised/disappointed me the most. Watching the preseason games, the D looked pretty good; hustling and hard hitting tackling. Against the Ravens? Didn't see any of that. The O I expected to not look good. OLine is either new players or players playing out of position, except Kilgore. Gonna take time for them to jell, and maybe even more time for the coaches to figure t

Hopefully Rosen works out. This will give Miami the opportunity to draft a blue chip player in a needed position. If Rosen doesn't take over the starting job, then Miami will have to go for one of the top QBs in the 2020 draft.

Dieter just signed (finally). After not signing until now, this guy better be the day one starter. As far as I know, all rookies, league wide, have signed, some time ago in fact. Amazing that there is a rookie pay scale in use, but some of these guys, i.e., Dieter, don't sign until late. Look at how much time this guy has missed. I hope he has a playbook and has it memorized.

The problem, Rick, is that the league has this strange rule that a team cannot change their uniforms until after a five-year request from the owner. That is my understanding of the rule. Not sure why the NFL has the rule, but...

There is a (weak) possibility that Haskins could fall to 13. I'm not that keen on him, but are the Dolphins? Anyway, I am hoping Miami can trade back and get more picks. They need them.

The problem with Fitz, is that he can be a magician one day and the next, garbage. We have to hope he is more garbage, otherwise we win too many games and (possibly) can't get that franchise QB this staff and team will have worked so hard to get.
