Another one bites the dust. I mentioned last night to some guys that GB looked great and it was very possible for them to win them all. Boy was I surprised when I learned the Chief stopped their run at perfection. Earning a perfect season ain't no walk in the park. '72 Fins are special. Very special.

Brandon Marshall (19) can't catch! He's had two drops in the end zone. What an over rated player. Geez!

WINNING! That's the remedy for empty stadium seats. During the '70s ago I would frequent Miami Hurricane games at the OB. It was empty for the most part. Even bringing in top draws like ND seats were empty. Not until the team came of age and won games did the fan base really start to support the football program. The same applies to the Dolphins now. Winning is the remedy and to do so r

Heath Evans believes firing Sparano was a mistake and Ross should admit that and rehire him. Balderdash!

I don't think we can just look at results in picking a HC. Leadership style and ability to field the best players on the team at any given time is really important. Honestly, I don't know who does that best of all the big name prospects out there. Ross needs to do a lot of due diligence in checking out these prospects and once he has a short list, persuading one of them to be hired. Th

Hasn't this topic been beaten on before? What coulda, what shoulda happened--it makes us all whacky. The Dolphins FO will now focus on all the players on the roster, those well and those injured. When a new coach is selected he'll evaluate the team's strengths and weaknesses and come up with a plan to make the roster stronger, better, at every position. I don't think any position is safe

Just saw the TV announcement by Ross. Sparano is gone. An interim HC will see it through the season. It's about time. Thank you Mr. Ross.

OOOPS! I added a 'd' to Nate Garners name. My mistake. There is no d in Garner.

I finally saw RG3 speak on several TV programs following his selection. My reaction to him was what an nice young man. He's smart, quite articulate, respectful and humble. Whether he stays at Baylor or comes out, (my guess he will complete his education first) I wish him the very best. Two thumbs up on this young man.

I pretty much agree with the context of what you stated. Another head coach will not fair as badly even with Moore as QB (should that happen in 2012). Gardner a sub was clearly out matched--Columbo is a starter and is routinely outmatched.

I'm not going to get into the debate (above) but my belief, that is to move on to another head coach, is based on my experience with leaders, leadership and military service men and women. The Fins are starting to jell as a unit. Their intensity of play is growing and mistakes are fewer than during the first 6 games of this season. Matt Moore has proven that he can lead a team, but is not th

Too, too many problems today. Not making the long field goal that would have given us 10 points hurt but was not critical except it gave good field position to the Eagles. What was more damaging, IMO was the dropped ball by Bess, followed by the loss of Jake Long that ushered in the "turnstile" at LT. We already know about Colombo's inability to stop rushers on the right side so, in

Halftime- The Fins have lost momentum with the loss of Long. I'll bet he's got a herniated disc. Gardner is not able to handle the rush and that means we have no protection on either L or R tackle. It's going to be a "long" day, and unless Daboll can come up with a better scheme to cope with the wide D-line positions--we may not see any more points. The fumble by Davone Bess sur

Jumping in late on this thread. Sparano may be learning--changing practices and working out differently, however, winning now is a little too late to make a difference in the divisional race. He shows he can adapt but is very slow on the uptake, IMO. I do believe, the Fins were poorly coached and confused, rather than motivated, as most have to be at the beginning of the season to win games

A great Qb uses his talent and those of his teammates to win while exploiting the opposing team's weaknesses.

"our team has the talent just not the coaching to win." Exactly! CAn't win a close one because of it.

I saw only bits and pieces of the game, but did see the final 5 minutes or so. Bad play calling and use of timeouts again when we had the ball and couldn't muster a first down. This allowed Dallas to move the ball slowly down the field and kick a last second field goal. Our inability to score 6 is killing us. Next year we will have a new HC. The team can't win a close game because of th

2216. Re: TEs
I do think that Marshall has a slight case of "attention deficit." On every pass play he need's to believe the ball will be coming his way and not to think otherwise when the ball goes to another receiver. Spreading the ball around to "catching" receivers makes the offense all the more difficult to defend. TEs use their size/bulk to screen smaller defensive players

With 6 games remaining 4 franchises have a worse winning record than the Dolphins. In the AFC--there's the hapless Colts sitting at 0-10; and the Fins at 3-7. In the NFC--theres the Vikings, Panthers and Rams all breathing hard at 2-8. The Redskins are like the Fins at 3-7. ======== Watching yesterday's game against the Bills, the Fins seemed more aggressive than I've seen them
