Win 4 games in a row convincingly and "Boomer" will talk about the "up and coming" Dolphins. Everybody likes a great come back story! I'm speaking generally and don't expect that will happen anytime soon.

Hard to tell really. He's more of a nerdy guy than a boob. I don't believe he knows much about football. I doubt if he ever played little league, PAL or other sports as a kid. I don't know for sure, of course, but I'd be surprised if he did. He just doesn't come across as a sports guy. He apparently makes his money from investment real estate. He must rely on others to structure a foot

The Dolphins won! A big win. They didn't turn the ball over and executed pretty well against a depleted (tired, spent) Chiefs team. From the first snap you could see more life in the Dolphins than the Chiefs. I'm happy for the team. BTW, this was the first time since last season that I was not wearing any Dolphin garb. Hmmm.

I'd give all of them a D-. There wasn't sufficient flexibility training this preseason. There are way too many Dolphins with hamstring and groin type injuries. Other teams are seeing similar injuries too. You would have thought, at least I would have thought, that players knowing the preseason was short would do their own conditioning. If you are going to run a marathon race, don't th

Hey Dolphin Fans, "Guess What?" "The grass IS greener on the other side." How pathetic is that? We have to start looking at who is available IF we don't get the 1st pick, but the second pick. Could the Colts afford Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck? Could he make Jake Long money? I sure don't believe Peyton is just going to suddenly become a mentor to the ne

Have to agree with you guys. A decent effort today, but it all comes down to coaching in the final 15 minutes. We had two bad calls made that were uncontested too. Coaching is a disgrace.

Bill Cowher on TV denied being contacted indirectly or directly by anyone to coach the Dolphins. He also stated that he would remain on TV and did not want to coach. Assuming he's truthful with us...who is going to fill Sparano's shoes next season?

After seeing the first 3 picks--I shut off the video. They say that reasonable minds can differ--damn if they're not right. I differ with the analyst. Dolphins have a need at RT! They need a top pick there, but no a 1st round draft choice like Jake Long at LT. Our immediate need is a field general--a 1st round draft pick at QB who has all the tools. We need a Peyton Manning type QB.

The local news reported that Daniel Thomas will sit out today's game and that Reggie Bush and Hilliard with carry the ball. Okay...let's see some sweeps, screens and play action with Bush and some pounding between the tackles with Hilliard. BTW, how much snow fell at the stadium?

How did the Miami Dolphins' fans become so angry, so incredibly angry with the players? Do fans really think that on game day each purposefully puts their worst foot forward in an effort to play miserably that day? Football is a rough tough sport where macho plays a factor. Most of these guys want to excel in what they do. All of them what to be top flight and to reach that level they have to de

Columbo is a misfire. What happens with a misfire. You eject and move on. The lphins (No D and no O) are shooting blanks with him as RT. Columbo did play effectively for the Cowboys and won a big contract for his efforts. However, the big guy has been injury prone. He was drafted in the 1st round by the Bears and was soon injured. He didn't play for a couple of years before landing with

I'm going out on a limb with this statement. The Dolphins, Ram and Colts will not share 0-16 record. The Dolphins, somehow, will win a game as will the Colts. The Rams on the other hand, will lose them all. We will likely win by a fluke. Example: Intercepting a ball on opponents 25 and running it in. With 2 minutes left to play. Something like that. I don't think we have to worry

There was nothing on the tube last night so I watched the Colts get disemboweled by Drew Brees and his offensive. The Colts have fallen hard. They have fallen further and faster than the Dolphins. Without Peyton Manning they can't be competitive at all. All their faith and hope were pinned on Manning's talent and his leadership. It's as though the players are mourning his loss and can't

There was appropriate criticism of Tebow by Wilcox for 46 minutes of play. Then the game changed. Incredible finish by the Broncos. I am absolutely astonished that they won this game.

Having spent my best years in the military living in different places, I can assure you that there are Dolphins fans everywhere. They wear their Jerseys around town on game day and look for the Monday paper to see if there's any coverage. They also watch ESPN hoping for some word about their team. Today with satellite and cable packages fans are able to catch games better than they used to.

Excellent comments Fins72. I pretty much feel the same way about the team, and it's sorry performance thus far. I do understand why Dansby is upset and I appreciate his position. But I also appreciate yours, specifically working harder and remedies to play better rather than attempt to assess fan behavior when the team is 0-5 and not won a game at home in a long, long time. I had previously written that Reggie Bush was not being used correctly out of the backfield. He needs to get into open space on sweeps and screens. Running him up the middle is not his forte. He's not a punishing, grind it out runner. Since, the coaching staff can't send in plays getting him in the open field, converting him into a receiver, gets him running with only a slight bump (if anything)

Being a former WR was an experiment at the HS level and it result was a switch to DB. Smith needs to be pushed and pushed (ala drill sgt) to teach him better ball hawking. The coaches need to practice with him over and over until he gets it.

I've been on Sean Smith's back because of his apparent inability to intercept anything. Think about the guy, I have a teaching tool recommendation for the Dolphin coaches. When you have a youngster that is learning how to throw and catch, you work with him until he gets the mechanics down. When I was a kid my dad worked with me (baseball) telling me to catch with two hands. It worked. Ap

Watching Reggie Bush this season leads me to believe that his time as a dedicated running back are over. Attempting to pound the ball hasn't worked. He is succumbing to the hits. With his speed and agility and ability to catch the ball, it's time to make him into a WR. Let's employ him as we get within 20-30 yards of the end zone. He will not only attract double coverage, but is more likely

I know what you are saying, but playing on MNF is an honor and we used to be there a lot and we won many of those games, as I recall. When you kick butt on MNF, even a short night of sleep isn't painful. The main this--you gotta win.

Hey this "Suck for Luck" campaign. Does anyone think that Andrew Luck is unaware of the teams that could draft him? C'mon, put your hands down--he knows. Nobody but him probably knows what he's thinking--but as a top flight college QB, he must have his druthers on what franchise he'd like to play for should he come out for the NFL draft. Think. If your were him, what team wou

Sean Smith couldn't catch a cold in a crowded clinic with sick people. Does he ever play catch? You know, just throwing the old football around with another guy? It sure seems like he is allergic to it. The end zone overthrown ball was there for the taking--once again he missed it. He's falling way short of being an NFL player. When you compare Revis (the best) with Smith (somewher
