I don't get it. Why would people be comfortable taking him with a later 1st than the 5th pick? Does it mitigate the risk? If you're sold on him you get him. With the number of picks we have there's very little risk.

Charles harris is a bust. That was a bad pick. I don't know what Grier will do. I can only hope adding Marvin Allan and Reggie McKenzie will be an upgrade to Mike Tannenbaum. I think the first draft you can truly grade Grier is this past draft. He ran the show. I can't believe for a second that Tannenbaum and Gase weren't involved in the past drafts.

Don't forget that Grier brought in Marvin Allen who helped shape the current Chiefs roster as his assistant GM and Reggie McKenzie. He was the personnel man of the year in 2016 and is our director of scouting now.
