Heck, I still hold out hope for Rosen. I've read one of the reason we fired our OC is because he wasn't developing him well enough. I'd love to see him beat out Fitz next year. That's what I envision with Herbert. I don't think you use the 5th overall pick on a project like that.

jlyell, love had a new coach and coordinator and 9 new offensive players in 19. He has the arm and ability to create plays. His skill set is comparable to Mahomes. Herbert is Rosen. Hurts is a one read QB and then eyes down and running. I really don't look at his stats. He played at oklahoma. Most QBs there have great stats. Never once heard of Gordon throughout the season. If he ha

Neither of them are worth the 5th pick. I'd take simmons at 5 and then take love at 18. If they feel the need to move up then move from 18 to 11 to get love. Fromm and Hurts are 3rd round projects at best. Aside from Burrow and Tua, Love has the most upside of any of the remaining QBs. He can sit and learn for a year behind Fitz. Then they have 4 picks again in the first 2 rounds to r

I'd rather get Jordan Love at 18 than Herbert at 5.

Exactly, treasure. This is only the event it is because it generates millions, if not more, for the league. I went to the one in Chicago. It was a lot of fun. Draft town was awesome. Unfortunately, it was in the 40s, cold and rainy. We made it back to my brother's place for the actual selections.

The draft hasn't been postponed. They're just not holding it in Vegas now.

I know I'm in the minority on this one but if Tua is there at 5 I'd take the chance on him. I would NOT trade up for him. If he's gone herbert isn't worth the 5th pick. I'd take simmons/okudah or try to trade back. The other picks would on the oline.

Well said, Tamper. And I won't be surprised if they're taking players no one is familiar with or hasn't been mentioned in the million mock drafts out there. They're looking for specific players, much like belichick, and will piss people off with some of their picks. They are going to miss on some picks. Everyone does but I'll trust the process based on the fact that he got a bunch of UPS

In addition to what mizz said they also had a new HC and OC in 2019. Look at his 18 season. That's what you should expect from Love.

We're not picking 14 players in this draft. We've built draft capital to get the players we want.

I'd offer a 2nd to Washington for Trent Williams and sign Scherff in FA. Left side solved!

I've seen nothing in Herbert's game that says special. Not saying he can't be a good qb, just don't think he's worth the 5th pick. IMO the only QBs worth a top 5 pick are Burrow and Tua but his injuries make it risky. If they're not there then take Simmons at 5 and get a QB later.

At what point do you take a chance on a QB? What Burrow just did was nothing short of amazing. Because he got injured while competing against a 5th year senior in Barrett or Dwayne Haskins doesn't make him a bad QB. At some point you have to show some conviction for a guy that you think will be a generational type player. If the approach is to make excuses until the next Andrew Luck or Pe

And Treasure, I don't want to get into some thread killing debate about Tannehill. It was just a comparison. He's no longer on the team and is pointless to keep talking about him.

Aaron Rogers, Pat Mahomes, Drew Brees, Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson. We spent 7 years trying to build a team around Tannehill. I don't want to see the team do the exact same thing with Herbert. And Chryen, Hurts is projected to go in the 3rd or 4th round, Fromm 2nd or 3rd. Reaching for them at 5 would be a colossal mistake.

If tua checks out medically he's the only QB worthy of the 5th pick aside from burrow but is a big risk. There is nothing about herbert's game that jumps out at you. He's another tannehill type that needs everything around him to be working for him to succeed. We have too many needs to reach for a QB at 5 when he'll be available at 18 or 26. The giants could have had josh allen at 6

With the combine coming up I'm sure there will be some risers in the QB class. Fromm will wow people with his smarts and Eason his arm. My hope is teams try to jockey their way in front of us for a QB and Young drops to 5. If so you grab love at 18 or 26. If you have to move to get him it will be much less expensive than trading up to 2 or 3.

I'm starting to sour on my tua stance. If it was just the ankles I wouldn't care but that hip injury is a red flag. Tough to say who I want in the draft before FA. If it were held today I'd say 1a. Simmons 1B. Bechton or Jones OT 1C. Love. I think he has more upside than the rest of the QBs aside from Burrow. 2a. Biadasz 2b. Dobbins

Tannehill is not a franchise QB. He is what he is. He had a nice run this year but when henry got stopped by KC they needed the QB to carry them and he didn't. Up 17-7 they went scoreless from the 6:49 mark of the 2nd QTR until midway through the 4th. That's tannehill's career in a nutshell. If everything around him is working he's fine. If not, best of luck and the excuses fly. You can

We took Jake Long over Matt Ryan. Ronnie Brown over Aaron Rodgers, Jamar Taylor over Brees, Culpepper over Brees. We've set ourselves up to control the draft. We can do what we like with little risk. Had Tua not gotten hurt the bengals would have a tough choice to make. At some point you have to swing for the fence. Why not in a year when you have 5 picks in the top 56 and 4 in the firs

I agree with SoCal. Tannehill did a great job managing Tennessee's offense. Much better than Mariota but in the end, when the run game got stuffed, he couldn't carry their offense. They went scoreless from midway through the 2nd quarter to midway through the 4th. A garbage time TD made his stats look good. I'm happy for the guy but he's no longer a phin and I don't want him back. I wi

I get what you're saying, Mizz, but he did have a new coach and oc this year. New system and lesser talent around him played big factors. I wouldn't take him at 5 but may with the first pick in round 2. I hope Tua lights up his workouts and gives the bengals something to think about. If they pass on Burrow, I'd be on the horn with Detroit and moving up 2 spots. All that said, if Tua is

I find it strange too but I'll wait and see the product on the field before I make judgement. He fired O'shea and gugliema the day after the final game. That decision was made during the season to go in a different direction. Not too worried about the DC. That's flores' D and the promoted from within which leads me to believe it won't be changing. I hope we hire Bill Callahan to coach th

Just saying that Tua is head and shoulders better than any QB in this draft, not named Burrow, when healthy. If he gets a clean bill of health I'd rather take that chance than go with an average QB without the injury history. That's Herbert, Eason, and Hurts. If we do play it safe I'd rather take a guy like Love at the end of the first, beginning of the second and develop him. And if he
