Don't forget grier has marvin allen and reggie mckenzie in that front office with him now. I'll take that over tannenbaum and gase.

When I heard Tunsil for Clowney I thought that was foolish. We got QB compensation for our LT. Short term we go from a max 6 win team to a 3 win team. Long term we're set up for success.

The reality is they have a skill set that allows them to make millions playing a stupid game. They know the risks. They're well documented these days. I find nothing courageous in getting a huge contract then bailing on his teammates 2 weeks before the season because it's too hard and not fun anymore. My generation calls that self centered. We've gone soft as a society. You know what

Luck quit on his team 2 weeks before the start of what looked to be a promising season. I'd boo him too. These players are so out of touch with reality.

Our rookie guards have work to do. I'm glad they're starting them because they need the reps. Jordan Mills is horrible. He started at LT and got blown up almost every play. I can't see him making the team. The D was vanilla the entire game. The philosophy is to put them in positions to succeed. Once the real games start we'll see a better D. New coaches, new systems. It will take some

Sam, Flores says they're in constant contact, he just can't be there full time. No update on his health though.

Agree on all 3. 1 is the most important to me. Gase brought in vets to try to change the culture. That starts and stops with the staff. NE didn't have superstars at every position. They had guys that bought in and stepped up when needed. I want to see our players buying in as the season progresses. Rosen will get his shot this year. He was on a train wreck of a team last year. I happened to be out eating with my son and they had Lock's pro day on. His facial expressions, body language and don't give a shit attitude reminded me of Jay Cutler. I wouldn't touch lock or jones in the first. If haskins and Ed Oliver are gone by 13 I'd try to trade back too.

If Haskins is there at 13 you absolutely take him. He gets a year to learn behind Fitzpatrick and that's why I think Fitz is here. Haskins dominated the 3 of the best Ds in the country his final 3 games. Tua struggled against the 2 good Ds he faced and seems injury prone. I may double down in the 4th on another QB.

The phins aren't going to break the bank for any FAs. You understand they're rebuilding and the first step is getting the cap under control. The next is not throwing money at FA and being the big winners in march. That hasn't worked out so well. With james walking and wake to follow we'll be in line for 3rd and 4th/5th round comp picks if we play our cards right. We have the potential

After losing his QB for the entire 17 season and bringing in Cutler I think Gase sealed his fate when he made Osweiler the primary backup this year. His ego says he can make those guys good QBs. The guy was made by Manning.

Sorry. I've seen this movie the past 7 years and know how it ends. I don't want to give Alex Smith lite a 3rd coaching staff to ruin. And if we do clean house and keep tannehill you guys will use that as an excuse. Did the chiefs massively upgrade their roster this past offseason or did they upgrade the QB?

And Gase chose to keep him to prove he was better than philbin. His gigantic ego also brought in Cutler and Osweiler. Clean house and cut Tannehill. His career path with follow Henne's.

He's the main problem. This is gase's roster. He built this. He said he doesn't value guards highly. Most QBs can have success with a pro bowl line in front of them. Sustaining that model is the problem. Injuries happen. At some point you need a QB that can pick up the slack. It's year 7 and the 2nd staff. At what point is enough enough?

gase also had hindsight and chose to keep tannehill. Philbin didn't have that and wanted to replace him. That alone should bring about the demise of adam gase.

I agree, chryen. It goes all the way to Ross but he isn't selling so our only hope is he brings someone in with some, like the browns did, to run the show. I think the way gase calls a game he's trying to prove he's smarter than everyone else. Philbin was kind of a dork but at least we were in games against quality opponents until philbin went philbin.

McCarthy is Adam Gase. Philbin has the title of OC much like Dowell Loggains. McCarthy called the plays. And before Chyren goes nuts I'm not defending Philbin. Just pointing out facts. McCarthy had one of the most talented QBs in the league and look at that offense. What do you think he'd do with Tannehill?

Why? his unimaginative offense? Wasting arguably the best QB in the game's best years? You're getting what we already have.

Those stats look good but one of those incompletions should have been a pick 6 and the 74 yd td should have been an interception. You can't just look at that stats. You have to look at every throw to judge a qbs performance. that said, gase is a loser and is in over his head. I hope he and tannehill find success with their new teams.

I think there's talent on this team. We just have a JV coaching staff developing them.

I don't think there's much difference between the 2 qbs. Osweiler has much better pocket presence, but also in year 7, he is who he is. As for the remainder of the season it really doesn't matter who is in at QB. Tannehill will take more sacks but Osweiler will miss more open WRs. If I had to choose I'd pick osweiler. The O looks like it runs more smoothly with him in there. It really

Stills was the second option on that play. If you rewatch it the RB coming in motion to the side tanny rolled got chipped by the DE and threw off his route. It was a high percentage dump off for the first. Stills quit on his route. He didn't sell it one bit. That said, none of it happens if you just run the ball.
