Since the early 90's Miami has been pretty spoiled at Middle Linebacker . Bryan Cox and Zack Thomas held the middle for over 15 yrs. Maybe if crowder made a few more tackles then he misses I'd be more inclined to get his sense of humor. IMO his play has not caught up with his mouth yet. Fair enough. Again, if he didn't have any Value Miami wouldn't have put such a high Tender on him. Is the staff hoping another Team bites and gives up a second rounder for him? Maybe. But with that High Tender comes a significant investment if no one does. If no other Teams bite, I think he's got as good a chance to compete for the starting job as anyone. Maybe a better one.
