Fins72 - I agree completely. Until the Oline gels, it would be better to have Fitz back at QB. If he gets hurt, Rosen can step in. The front office does a lot of good things, bringing in players who turn out to be good. Except on the offensive line.

I think the team will gel and come together around the 5-6 game. The last half of the season (barring injuries) we will be a force to be reckoned with.

Tua's stats for last 3 games vs Georgia and Clemson Georgia Jan 2018 14/24 166 yards 3 TDs 1 Int Georgia Dec 2018 10/25 164 yards 1 TD 2 Int Clemson Jan 2019 24/34 295 yards 2 TDs 2 Int He doesn't play particularly well against teams that have overall talent to match up with Alabama

If Rosen turns out to be the QB of the future, a fair amount of credit is due to Fitzpatrick. It appears that he's showing how to be the consummate pro.

The o-line were not good against Atlanta. Also, the one CB got eaten alive. I was overall encouraged that the team is headed in the right direction. The key is to see growth over the course of the preseason and even over the season. they are a very young team. We may not be in the playoff hunt but baring major injuries, the Dolphins are not going to be a team you want to face late season.

He was the best. Probably a better person after football than on the field. All the stations here locally had news features on him due to his Citadel connection (Marc).

I love how Flores is leading the team. High expectations on players and coaches to perform. I also get the impression that if DeGuglielmo had been available, Flores would have hired him over Flaherty to begin with.

Camp opens today and I am excited to see what it brings. I have no expectations that the Dolphins will be good or make the playoffs. I look to improvement and the future. I am excited to see: 1. How the coaching staff performs - our fundamentals and discipline have been poor over the past few years 2. To see how Rosen does. I'm not worried about how hes playing Week 1 but if he's the real

Jim Caldwell taking leave of absence for health reasons. Hope its not overly serious. This is a big blow for the season.

Gase tried to bring in players to instill a new "culture". He and the coaching staff were weak in this area and it showed.

Question for S. Florida residents. Do they have a Dolphins " Season Preview" magazine etc that they sell in grocery stores in S. Fla? Here in South Carolina, they have a Panthers magazine. Trying to find something to send to my son stationed in Japan. He needs something to read at sea

I agree. I think Grier has done a good job. He appears to be very methodical in his approach which I appreciate. I think Flores coaching style is going to be night-n-day better than Gase. I think the addition of Caldwell to the staff is going to be beneficial. for defense, the whole "Wide 9" scheme always seemed like crap to me. Couldn't stop the run, couldn't pressure the QB

Gase running EVERY aspect of the Jets, Head Coach, GM, VP Player Personnel. What can go wrong???? He hasn't coached a game yet, but I like Flores 1,000,000 times better than Gase.

Agreed. I read a couple of articles on him and watched some videos. Big, tall kid who uses his body/size well. I hope that he can put his past transgressions behind him and shine. This is the kind of pick up that the Patriots have been famous for - taking a flyer on "troubled" player which big upside.

Read an interesting article on Rosen and miami coach Caldwell's influence on other quarterbacks he worked with - Manning, Stafford, Flacco. I look back and get the feeling that previous regimes didn't do a very good job coaching. I think this will come to light this year particularly on defense.

I have only been to a handful of games live and only one in Miami. Win or lose, each game has been memorable in its own right.

Jones is a no-show at voluntary minicamp? News feed doesn't say much either way at this point. for the S. Fla locals, what are they saying locally? Jones to be traded, cut?

I think there are questions about all of the potential 1st round QB's. I dont think we should use 1st round pick on QB.

Astro34 - I agree. All some of these QBs have to do is throw the ball in the general vicinity of their All-American WRs and the ball gets caught. Also, those receivers get huge separation that doesnt happen in the pros. I do like QBs that play on shit teams and have to throw to crappy wideouts but still succeed. I have mostly seen Lock when he played South Carolina. He was ok but didn't s

I worry about Drew Lock. Look at his stats against teams that have decent defenses. His stats are way down. He will light up SW Missouri State and the likes for 500 yards and 4 TDs then all but disappears against the SEC elite teams.

I watched Orlando play Birmingham a few weeks ago. Watched about 1-1/2 quarters. I thought it was awful. to me, it looked like the 4th quarter of an NFL preseason game - unwatchable.

Fins72 - If we win more than 3 games, we will know we have a helluva coaching staff because they will have to perform miracles to achieve that with what we have on the roster and against the competition we face.
