Accountability for absolutely blowing it with last year's #5 pick. The pick that was going to be a franchise changer for the best, and should be our GM's defining moment...and it was. Not in a good way. There were only 2 "legitimate" QB choices at the time, being Tua or Herbert. Chris Grier had months to evaluate and dissect every aspect of both candidates strengths and weakness

A question to all the Tannehill apologists: Do you think that Ryan Fitzpatrick could have done just as well, if not better, than Tannehill did with the same Titans team? Answer honestly. I seriously think Fitzy could have.

Yesterday, I saw the same Tannehill that played with the dolphins, and who he's always been: an average NFL QB. He still stares down receivers and telegraphs his passes, getting them knocked down at the line of scrimmage on critical downs. He still doesn't recognize the rush soon enough to avoid sacks. He's still not athletic enough to consistently use his legs to pick up critical gains during

Another terrible pick by Grier. Just one of more than I can remember.

The fact that this team is so void of any talent what so ever, is a testament of how the front office(GM/scouts) has completely failed this team for the last 8-10 years. Ross has, for some reason, left a small, but critical portion of that front office in place. I speak of Chris Grier. It's like a surgeon removing all of a cancerous tumor, except a small piece, thinking all will be just fine.

It's not my fault that I can spot a bust(a player not worthy of the draft pick used on him) sooner than later. I hope it is an overreaction, but Grier's GM record has me a

I'm basing that opinion on the fact that the only time I've heard his name called this year, was for a Personal Foul that squashed a 3 and out. For the #13 overall pick in the draft, Wilkins should be making some kind of noticeable impact alo

Christian Wilkins is absolutely useless!! Thank you Chris Grier for yet another 1st Round Bust! From Ryan Tannehill, to Dion Jordan , to Charles Harris, and now Christian Wilkins. I have NO FAITH in this front office when it comes to making draft picks. And since that's the only way to build a successful team, we're in DEEP $#!T!! I've never witnessed such a load of hot garbage in my life!!

42. Re: Tua
There's still a lot of season to evaluate Tua. I'm not completely sold on him yet, but I will be keeping a close eye on him this year, as well as some other potential QBs. In Tua's last game , he threw a lot of slants that got housed or ate up huge chunks. The passes were very crisp and accurate, catching receivers in stride and placed well. He does seem to have decent pocket presence, but he

I've been hammering Grier for years on this board. He's been the only common denominator over the last 10 years of bad-mediocre drafts. Next year Grier needs to draft the top LT with the 1st pick, then go best available OL with the second 1st rounder. Forget about TUA!! We need to start Rosen next year. The only way Rosen can be evaluated fairly, is with a somewhat competent OL. The

I'd rather have Rosen over a 5'9", 160lb running threat QB, won't look nearly as fast in the NFL. Instead of wasting a #10 over-all pick(that they traded up for) by givi

I've been ragging on Chris Grier for years now. Complaining about the lack-luster drafts he's been involved with since we took Tanny #8 overall, instead of Luke Keuchly and Russle Wilson(could have had them both!!!). But I really like what I've seen in Grier so far, since he's had complete control of things: Dumping Gase and hiring Flores was a beyond excellent move. The draft picks Grier ma

Between the two, Richards D just gave up over 250 rushing, and got smoked by the Rams. Flores' D just squashed P-Riv and the Chargers, and looked well prepared doing it. Also, Flores brings 6 SB trips, 3 rings, and over a decade being part of a championship organization, as experience. What comparable experience does Richard bring to the table? A brief stint with the Seahawks(DC'15-'17), an

From the things I've read, I like Flores. Grew up in the roughest part of Brooklyn. played LB at Boston College, and was a highly touted NFL talent, until he broke his leg. Been in the Pats org since '04. From go-fer, to scout, to LBs coach, to DC. He makes the D calls during the game, and looked really good doing it vs the Chargers. He's absolutely learned from the best. I like the identi

If he has final say on the 53, they'll suck for sure. One of his biggest flaws is he's a terrible judge of talent. Can't wait to watch his pressers after games, as he gets hammered by the NY reporters.

Speaking of the Chargers, Mike Pouncy is having a Pro-Bowl quality season. Im sure glad we didn't need him anymore... Adam Gase as a talent evaluater is a complete mind blower. This dude thought Julius Thomas, Jay Cutler, and Brock Osweiler were worth a crap. If that's the case, we're in deep doo-doo if he continues to have final say on roster spots. That's the main reason we're in shallo

And.....we're back! Coming into this game, we were a 5-8 team in 7-6 clothing. C'mon, we're within an eyelash of losing the last 3 games, instead of being 2-1 in that span. Who didn't think that Cousins, Diggs, and Theilen, we're going go off huge vs our xman-less D? Or, didn't see Dalvin Cook gashing the worst run D in the league?! And did we really think we were going to do squat aga

The only thing Gase showed us, is that he's a tiny balled, gutless loser of a head coach. He's a weird combo of Joe Philbin and Tony Sparano(RIP). It's starting to get obvious that the players are losing confidence in him, because the "offensive guru" has one of the worst Os in the league. It's definitely time to move on from the sharp-shouldered, flem throated, Phil-rano love-

Gase is a joke. And everyone above him is even a bigger joke. From Ross, to Tannenbum, to Chris Grier. Ross made the mistake, a huge mistake of bringing in multiple time loser, Mike Tannenbaum. Then, Tannenbaum goes on a very UN-exhausting GM search, and promotes Chris Grier to GM. WHY?! What has Chris Grier ever done besides find the likes of Johnathan Martin and Dion Jordan?! I ar

Huh...I remember a fumbled snap that pretty much ended the game. I also recall a 11/20 100 yds 0 TD/ 1 INT (What's that QB rating?) Didn't make a single play, or make anyone better around him. He sucked in my book.

As far as "hottest" QB in the league, Men on Film gave him "two snaps up". And the one with the little hat said, "I wanted to be Ryan's center.", whatever that means... As far as I'm concerned, the team is 2-0 despite Tannehill's play. I'm hoping that it's just a lot of rust, and entering the 2nd qtr of the season, he'll be in his groove. IMO, Grier and Co. be

Hate to break it to you, but Kiko sucks! He's an undersized OLB and an over-sized , slow SS, a tweener. But leave it to our FO to extend him w a huge contract.

I've gotta admit I was stunned by the pick our FO made at #11...that they didn't F it up this time!! The same FO that I've called on this very board, the "3 stooges", "dumb and dumber", and "a monkey humping a football", got it absolutely RIGHT! We've finally found the FS that this team has lacked ever since Dick Anderson retired....that's going back a ways. In Mi
