Being local and all, the Blades brothers out of Piper High deserve to be mentioned! Brian and Bennie Blades

So most agree it is Jamar Fletcher and or Sammie Smith. But when we lost David Overstreet, it had an impact on our Franchise bigtime. We never really got back on truck with RB for decades. Overstreet was drafted first rd out of Oklahoma and was expected to do great things. We never really had a great running game in Marinos SUperbowl becasue of the death of Overstreet. I remember rooting for him

ps- Jason Allen does not belong in that group. He is still a questionable 1sr rd bust IMO. Carey, Brown, Ginn, Long!! ...Saban was still in love with Allen from High School and was a huge reach, with his hip injury. Rotating Hips are crucial to playing CB. He came in and was awful at those rotating hip drills while backpeddaling.... I still don't think he will ever be a good starting CB in this l

I didn't think Gardner ever went mental on the Dolphins. He was a stud run stopper. Then he had back problems, which is why we didn't resign him when he was a FA. Then steriods later on after back injury made him do some crazy shit. But we had 6 or so awesome years with the guy. Gardner should be mentioned as one of our better 1st rd picks, not worse. I hope we find a good 1st or 2nd rd DT in th

exactly Boldin is young and proven....how many 1st rd recievers are complete bust....more then make it that is for sure, we need him! But not more then a stud CB or nose tackle of the future with that 1st pick. ps- Hicks at 25 could be the next Boldin but younger and cheaper, so that is a possibility. Our first pick is a crap shoot, I know most disagree but I defintely don't think we will

Agreed about Zach, I would think JT would have to sign with us for nothing and have a 8 to 10 sack minimum final season or so

Mike O has some valid points as in, last time I checked Marino's leadership never lead to a 1-15 season.... Marino's worst year win loss wise was 6-10 in 1988, This being the only time in his enitre multidecade career that he did not lead the dolphins to a winning season. Impressive... IMO This alone should carry alot of weight in your discussion,

ps- Everybody knows that the problem with The Marino Era, was a so called defense run by a guy named TOm Olivadotti, nothing to do with Marino. They guy who invented how to lose a game through his "Prevent Defense". Prevent alright, prevented us from winning a few Super Bowls!!! Amen AMen

I think you are only as good as your leaders or leadership. JT was a great HOF player but not a great Leader. Marino and SHula were far superior leaders then any that have come through this franchise since. They did things on the Football field that are why I have a love affair with NFL football. SOrry but JT and Zach with their coaches didn't do that for me. Zach should go down as one of the gre

Where are all the posts that said JT would be the next Robert Deniro by this time already, starring in roles opposite Denzel Washington......For sure he must be interested in a team near Hollywood...... Where are those old post, anyone willing to stand up? I need a good hysterical laugh on a monday afternoon for sure!

This really reminds me of the type of Veterans Parcell's wants on the team. He acted similar to Jason Taylor. The difference is Pennington uses it to show that he is just as committed if not more then he was as a rookie player or second year player. WHich is what the coaches wanted, JT complained and acted like he wasn't appreciated and resisted. My guess Pennington has an amazing year!!! And we

They made that statement becasue it makes sense in order to motivate both players....,brilliant really. Pennington has never put back to back successful healthy years, the coaches know this, so does Pennington. SO this statement motivates the hell out of Pennington. He knows his history and how long he has been in the NFL and I bet he is in the best shape of his life for this tenth season. Now yo

All of those are just that practice videos in a drill that favors the offensive player. Where he is matched one on one with a guy playing tight up on the line of scrimmage and he has nothin to lose...ie a real football game. Also there is no safety over the top....isnt every NFL WR suppose to have the advantage in that situation and suppose to make the play 90% of the time.. I would like to see

The Nigerian Nightmare... had his run in Tecmo for sure.....that is funny, but then again that All History 85 Bears team with Payton in the FIrst Madden was pretty sick. but no one touches BO in Tecmo one..... back on topic... I agree as much as I despise the guy OJ should be considered.....but I never saw him at least that I remeber.. when was the last game OJ played against the dolphins at hom

I would say it is a toss up between Walter Payton, Barry Sanders or Bo Jackson, to say one of those guys was better to watch then another is just to hard of a call to make. PS- I was not lucky enough to see Mecury Morris or Jim Brown run but I know alot of old timers would swear by those 2

I agree Aqua once again. The coach has nothing to lose, he was almost booted after last years crumbling. So T.O. by history doesn't destroy the team until the second or so year. They get an initial boost, Eagles went to SUperbowl after siging T.O., Dallas offense looked unstoppable his first 1-2 season. SO this move would seem to guaranteed Coach Dick another 2 season, where before this T.O. sig

I agree the Jets could do it, not sure who else, but someone will, especially in these trying times, some owners will do anything to sell tickets at this point.... Oakland, Cleveland, Washington(just because SNyder is desperate, not to sell tickets but just plain desperate after being labeled an NFL loser)?

What kind of statement is that... Parcells always builds from inside out, which equals need not top player, he has never willingly drafted a WR in the first round, so in no time in his history there was a WR that was the best player available for him to pick up in the first round. I know history of WR's he passed on were much better then the defensive guy Parcells drafted... Parcells is a creatur

Ferguson 34, SOlia has had some team issues and not blown away anyone as the heir apparent.... So I'd say we are one play away from being in trouble, so that is thin...no? thin NT, is humerous
