no worries , all good. You can say that it is loved ones or you can say, no one knows a child like a parent. And these guys history proves they are not quitters IMHO, and would more tend to back the parents then the survivor. The guys that made it all the way to the NFL, are quitter's and the LA Fitness Trainer wasn't...... and he didnt try and talk them into staying or trying a litle longer. N

HE has willingly drafted WRs' in the second round before....a few times including Antonio Bryant # 63 in 2002. SO maybe they are hoping the WR they want will fall to them in the 2nd.

With Cameron Wake, CHanning Crowder, Joey Porter and Matt Roth and TOrbor and Ayedole, I don't think we draft a first round LB unless one of the top 2 guys fall and we can't resist, don't think we stretch as far as drafting Mathews with the 25pick. CB or DT, most likely IMO, but maybe Parcell will break all of history and for the first time willingly take a WR in the first round.

Here is a quote from Marquis father Bruce Cooper knows the official version of what happened to his son. One of four people clinging to an overturned boat in the Gulf of Mexico, his son Marquis gave in to the wind, the cold, the pounding waves. He slipped away from the boat and died. Cooper says he knows better. "I raised the kid, I lived with the kid, I can tell you that is not his

Yes i have been flipped over in sailboats in waters off of Mystic Connecticut and off Annapolis Maryland, the Naval academy, WIth water much much colder and having to continue to sail and race for 8 hours soaking wet. I also used to surf year round in college ST Augustine FLorida, as cold as 56 degree water. Life fines a way to survive and these guys seem to have alot ways to try and do that

If you know so much about the gulfstream, then you would know that the gulfstream is very , very far offshore of Daytona Beach much farther the 8 miles, Water temp in Daytona aroun that time was nowhere near being in the 8o's. More like the difference between 73 and 66. Just for refernce. And we are talking a 12 year old scrawny autistic child with no floatation device. Schuler told some peope h

secondly, these guys should have been able to get up on the hull, helping the hypothermia, like the survivor did, His hypothermia and core body was not that bad when they picked him up, but the other guys who had more mass, which should mean core temperature would last longer, were so hypothermic, that lost their minds took of their only survival equipment and gave up after a few hours? Sorry d

I really hate to say this but how this story sounds, I think it is their duty to look into the survivor.... did he owe any of these guys alot of money. Please dont curse me if you are friends with the guy.I just dont buy the story he is telling people and what has been reported he said. maybe he is in shock and just not making rational statements, but defintely not the whole truth.

Man , may god rest there souls, I am really bummed about this. Being a native Floridian, fishermen, who owns a center consoles and fishes in rough seas regularly. A couple things bother me about this story. One you should never anchor up in real rough seas in a small boat, especially if you don't have that much scope in the anchor line, meaning the line pulls more at an angle then straight up and

grooves12, I agree I didn't want to get in a chatroom fight with a guy that thinks he knows more then you, but my sources tell me the same thing, that Wilford will not be cut, unless a suprise FA is signed or good trade offer. But his real expense has already been paid, and this years investment is minimal, compared to what he was paid in his signing bonus and salary already. Something like, he

the last time parcell was part of drafting a WR in first round, 1996 Terry Glenn #7 overall, he would later quit saying that Kraft forced him to draft Glenn instead of a defensive player like he wanted. This is where his famous line came from in referring to the drafting of Glenn. "If they want you to cook the dinner, at least they ought to let you shop for some of the groceries" So his

I agree Aqua that 2 out of our first 3 picks will be spent on Defense. The other will be spent on a WR. Now which pick will go where... not to sure about. But our top needs are DT, CB. and WR.Now it all depends on whois available where to determine, what we do. For example,if Raji by some rare miracle were to be available at 25, we pick him. If Malcom Jenkins falls, he will be picked like Merlin d

COmsidering Randy Moss was considered washed up when leaving the Raiders....to set records the next season as WR in New England.. Sapp personally has told close friends that no one really cares about playing football in Oakland. It is a place to get paid, party and then retire, or get cut from and sign with whomever contender you want after a one to 3 year stint, spent smoking pot, strip clubs an

COles was a Probowl reciever, who is 31 and on the decline of his career. What does it tell you about him when the Jets let him walk, and the team with the QB with whom he has the best chemistry has no real interest him at any price apparantly? I trust in the trifecta on this one, but so far signing guys older then 30 to big money deals, just aint there style, they wanna build with the draft not

They found the guy who was with the boat. The number one rule when a boat capsizes is stay with the boat. The Coast GUard regulations even make the boat builders build boats that will not sink completely. The main reason is, it is much easier to find a boat then a person. Unfortunately finding these guys without a boat or any debris in the gulf of Mexico, is the old needle in a hay stack. It suck

Coles is not the large receiver Miami is looking for to compliment our recieving core. If we want a player like Coles then we are most likely hunting for Percy in the draft. not interested in paying Coles a ridiculous amount. COles, Bess, Ginn, Camarillo, and then Percy who the phins have privately worked out, all small recivers. WIlford and London would be the 2 large recievers of our receiveing

"in fact are draft picks have sucked except brown, long. for the past 9 years." Not sure that makes sense, aren't you rooting to sign Vernon Carrey, like most as the priority FA. He would have been drafted, in the time frame you speak of. Wes Welker was picke up unsigned as to Davone Bess, no need drafting a guy if no one else, is going to draft him and he wants to play for you. Also la

I like him alot, big guy(target)that showed his strength also seems to go for the ball and showed his concentration, with a few circus catches. If he is there, my vote we take him....

I think Percy is an amazing player and saw him live several times over his career...amazed me everytime I saw him, he stood out often...that being said, he was a little to injury prone in college for me. Now If he can stay healthy, he belongs in the top 10 maybe even top 5. His dedication, intelligence and talent is off the chart.

Just a question, but what about Donald Thomas, taking a shot at center. He is the guy who could handle the above mentioned Dlinemen one on one IMO. In the Jets game, I rember him hanging with SHaun Ellis on many plays in his first ever profesional start . So much so, he told Pennington after the game, that Donald THomas, was an animal, and going to be something special. One of if not the stronges

WHen playing against the 3-4 defense, Offensively you have a huge advantage if your center can take on the NT one on one. Satele is not big enough or strong enough to do that. Ireland/Parcells want a guy with herculeing strength like Donald Thomas as there center. A center that can do that obviously brings the advantage to the running game. Coaches were not very happy with the yards per run avg f
