It really shouldn't be that surprising that Miami is ranked 25th. They have one established WR. Parker is coming off a rookie year where he show flashes of talent in a couple games, but it would be foolish to anoint him as star WR. Stills was a major disappointment. They are young and have a lot of potential, but haven't proved it yet. I think the WR numbers this year are key to stat that will

I would guarentee his money for this year and next and revisit signing him to an extension after the season is done.

I am don't think we got our best value from trader Tanabaum's 2nd days moves. A fourth round pick pretty steep price to move up 4 places in the 2nd round when their were still seemingly similarly rated CB's available. It in itself isn't the worst trade if that was their guy, (it sounds like they were really trying to get Myles jack though). By trading the 4th round pick they had to give up way to

If I rember correctly Brandon Albert was an OG in college. It might make more sense to put him inside.

I hope not tonight, but should Miami use a pick in 4-6 rounds if LB Jaylon Smith is on the board?

For tonight, I would pick a CB and DT unless the BPA is a RB or LB is significantly higher rated than the CB or DT available.

I think Tunsil handle himself well by being honest in the post draft interviews. I didn't see the Instagram texts until this morning in the payments by the coaches. Tunsil was suspended for a few games already for accepting payments for cars, so this isn't exactly ground breaking. It sounds like he is perhaps getting blackmailed by his step father but he didn't go there. Top OT are often sa

Wow, he dropped like rock after that video was leaked on his twitter. As long as he doesn't pull a Ricky, this should fix our OL and could be a great pick for us. What happens to Brandon Albert? Do we move him inside to OG? Do we trade him?

beating the Parriots with Brady is obviously more satisfying, but I personally think the Patriots are much better on paper unless Miami drafts miracoulsy, Williams, Alonso and Maxwell get back to the prior form and Tannehill and a bunch of Miami younger player take big step forward in their development. I will take a cheap NE win this year. I don't think Miami is you get to the playoffs th

I would rather take my chances with a using a draft pick for a RB. Hopefully yesterday's signings are just camp backs.

104. Re: Pick?
I looked at the 2013 & 2014 rosters; you are right that the Dolphins have historical only rotated 3 DT's. We still need at least one DT that is better than Mitchell. Mitchell is 28 y/o and has reached his ceiling. It just isn't good enough for a starting DT especially when he is playing next to a productive DT and DE.

I didn't realize that Shelby graded that well. Maybe we should have attempted to keep him, since Wake is a pass rushing specialist at this point career. I am a little skeptical on some of the rating how well, since Miami has been so consistently poor against the run the last 1 1/2 years. Supposedly, OV, SUH and Shelby grade well against the run. I know that Mitchell and the LB didn't fare so we

Looking at Dolphins drafted free agents, perhaps Miami can learn from this years mistake of not keeping their drafted talent. Ideally, I would have like to see Miami sign Miller and OV, but obviously not at those prices. I would like to see Miami in the future devote some cap space to sign their 4th year players to extensions, so they don't get into this situation of a mass exodus. Shelby

108. Re: Pick?
We do need at least another DT (a total of 4), maybe Jordan Phillip will develop this year, but their needs to be a rotation of DT's. Suh can't play every down still be effective at the end of the game. Earl Mitchell graded very poorly. IMO Mitchell and the LB's are why Miami has been so poor at defending the run.

It does not surprise me. Team have a lot of cap room (average is $30M) and it is a shopping frenzy. As soon as I saw $11M for an OG I knew that their was going to be some stupidity.

The underlying issue is drafting. Teams can plug holes or two in Free Agency, but not revamp 1/4 of the roster like we are doing this year. 2012 Draft was one of our better recent drafts but it is still not good enough. 4 players which contributed and started of which 2 good players, 1 average QB. No Pro Bowls between them. 2013 was a disaster, 1 starter Jelani Jenkins and backup TE.

I am much more comfortable with Mario Williams for 2 years than 4-5 years of OV who I think will be overpaid and I think will never be a probowler.

The cost of going from 13 to 8 is about a 2nd round pick or atleast a 3rd. I am going to be pissed if they essentially gave up a 2nd and 4th for those players.

I saw on Twitter that it was a swap of Miami and Philly 1st round picks plus a 4th round pick to the Dolphins. I am not sure how I feel about that. 5 spots can a big deal where Miami is picking. Picking up a 4th is obviously a positive.
