It's a good thing we don't turn the ball over a lot. We've already given up over 250 yards of offense.

We have Ricky and Ronnie and they have combined for 7 rush attempts in the first half. Why not run the ball; get a first down; and give the D a break?

OK - our offense can score on these guys. Thankfully. Now we need our defense to stopped getting pushed around and get a 3 and out.

Our defense played bad last week against SF; but last week we were fortunate to play against a team that couldn't put the ball in the endzone. KC is capable of putting the ball in the endzone. We just need to play better.

I am following the game on sportsline.com. Looks like LJ is putting up some yards on our D.

The chances of us being a wildcard team were slim anyway. Our hope is to win the division. It will come down to the Pats and Ravens for the wildcard. The Pats are the team most upset about the Ravens winning.

It's funny how people have different perspectives of cold. For a lot of us, North Carolina is considered going South for the winter. And 15 to 20 with a wind chill of zero? That's warm compared to many places right now. It's -6 at my house right now before the wind chill. It is unbelievably cold. In that weather, if a players is in the game for a while he'll be OK because of the activity a

I hope they were homemade Mojitos (or served at a bar/pub/restaurant) and not those nasty Bacardi bottled mojitos.

In the past that type of forecast was a bad thing for Miami; but I don't think that's the case this year. Winning in that type of weather is usually determined by who has the best running game and who wants it more. Both of those factors should favor us.

Chyren's original post came immediately after the play...not on Monday. That's expressing his point of view not Monday morning QBing.

I agree. Pennington should have made it. He's the second highest rated passer in the AFC. Although I am not sure how Brown made it over Slaton or even Lynch. Slaton really should have been the third RB.

Antonio Bryant. Big proven WR with good hands. Also, he's still young enough to have several good years left in him.

What about Antonio Bryant? He's a big WR with good hands that will be a FA after the season. At 28 years old, he should have a several good years left in him. He's been great this year.

Why not Ray Lewis? There's that whole murder thing that kind of bugs me. Either Lewis is a murderer or one of his buddies is; and Lewis knows it. He knows the killer. So if Lewis is not the killer than at the very least he helped one of his pals get away with murder.

Futt - I just saw something about this yesterday, although I can't remember where I saw it. The news I saw said almost exactly what you just said - that Miami has feasted on a last place schedule and will face a much tougher schedule next year - and possibly a decline wins. They pointed out that our wins (7 of our 9) came against teams with losing records. Meanwhile, we are 2-5 against teams t

Well obviously you disagree with those who didn't like the call. That's fine. Some of us just think that a FG was very important at that time (SF was only 5 points behind and had been driving on us the entire second half) and running a play that took us out of our kicker's range was probably not the best play to run. I'm guesssing Sparano would run a different play in that situation next time

I would rather play a tough defensive game against the Ravens (and hope that our QB makes one more play or one less mistake than their QB ) than get into a high scoring shootout with the Pats.

What bugs me is that this may put the Pats in the playoffs. We all know that if we win out, we will win the division. Same is true with the Jets - if they win out they will win the division. The loser will most likely miss the playoffs (barring a collapse by both the Ravens and the Pats). The 2nd wildcard spot (after the Colts) will probably come down to the Pats and the Ravens. The Pats

I didn't think that they had indisputable evidence to overturn the call on the field.

Yes, this is a Dolphins message board; but right now the AFC playoff picture is wide open. It seems that almost every game has some sort of playoff implications. So did the Ravens get hosed by the replay officials who ruled that Santonio Holmes scored a TD?

Actually, the Pats have a better chance of being a wildcard team than the Phins or the Jets.

I don't expect any lineup changes at WR this year unless there is another injury. However, I believe very strongly that all of our WR's will have some new competition next year in training camp.

I don't really get into the "who deserved to win" discussions. Barring a blatantly terrible call by an official, the team that deserves to win is the team with the most points on the board at the end of the game. However, I would still call this an ugly win; and yes SF pushed us up and down the field all day. Anyone who watched the game could see that. They dominated time of possess
