I could swear I thought treasure mentioned trading back when I read the post too. Not getting in the middle of the feud. I do agree with you about the trading back. If there is a player we love then take him, if you can trade back a few and maybe get future draft picks along with the player we wanted, then go for it. I mention future picks because we could trade back and maybe pick up a

Our current draft position is precarious. If a play goes differently in the redskin and jet game we would have 5 wins right now and picking 11th. Conversely, if the Colts kicker could make a kick they would be leading their division with Houston a wild card team and Steelers out of playoffs. With our picks I do believe that we could pick any number of players in a variety of ways and be a be

I do not understand this obsession with Tua. All these mock drafts have us picking him 4th in the first round. Yes, he played well when he was on the field, BUT he was injured often behind a really good offensive line. Medically he is a train wreck. If we pick him we may get lucky and he can play well again, but odds are he cannot. Would be the all time riskiest draft pick. We don't need ris

I agree with you Mizzou15 about Tua, I would have to pass on him. I just read he probably will not get back internal rotation in his hip. That is OK for anyone who is not getting tackled or hit for a living. While he may be able to run fine, if you cannot rotate your hip when needed you bring into a ton of different injuries to the forefront. I think there are plenty of other QB's out there

I just hope we get one of the top two picks.... so we could get our choice of QB or Chase Young. Whoever is not off the board yet.

We all need to be fans of these teams this week: Teams below us in the standings: Bengals Redskins Giants Teams that keep Pittsburgh from making the playoffs: Browns and any team with 5 losses (Colts, Titans, Raiders) Any team that keeps Houston from making the playoffs: Patriots Colts So we need : Detroit over Chicago Buffalo over Dallas Atlanta over New Orleans Cincinnati

Great info.... The media keeps saying this is a tank job, more like straightening out the awful financial situation we were in and purging bad contracts.

My ideal draft would be QB, OT, DE in the first round in whatever order we felt necessary. Would love Young (DE from Ohio State) with our first pick or Burrow if he was there. Then with the second one get Hebert or Fromm whichever you love or a OT or C/G then with the third get which one you didn't already pick. Second round I would like to double down on OL and get a RB or CB. In th

Jacoby Brissett owes us this win. If it was not for his injury they would have beaten the Steelers (2 point loss) and the Dolphins(I enjoyed the win but it hurt our draft status). This would have put them at 8 and 2. Essentially making Houston's playoff possibilities difficult. Would have given the Steelers another loss (helping our draft pick cause the wild card would be difficult) and givi

Turning into a COLTS fan tonight ..... we need them to win to push Houston out of a potential playoff spot and getting the Dolphins a higher draft choice.

I just hope that the Dolphins don't go all in on Tua after that injury. We need to pick a QB that can play and will be on the field. I look at as you have a choice between the fastest Chevy car and fastest Ford car. The slightly faster one continually breaks down. Which one do you choose? (just an example not choosing brands here)

Since the start of 2018 Tua has had these injuries: Broken pinky finger - surgery Knee Injury - sprain Both Ankles - high ankle sprains - surgery Hip dislocation That is a whole lot of injuries and a lot of surgeries in a short amount of time. He plays behind a good offensive line. Imagine how many injuries he would have behind an average or bad offensive line.

The media is just trying to get people to read their articles. We are doing the right thing. We do have some good pieces for next year. Where is all the national media for how bad Cincinnati, Washington or NY Giants suck. Everything is about the Dolpins...win or loose. It all started with the "Tank for Tua" crap. Who ever started that threw us under the bus, and the national me

Let me clarify this injury. First of all I work as a Certified Athletic Trainer and have been doing this over 30 years. Tua dislocated his hip and sustained a back wall fracture. Which means when he was tackled his knee was in the ground (could not move forward) and the forces came forward throught the hip forward. This caused the femur (thigh bone) head to go backward and popped out of i

a few thoughts.....tsstamper wrote "The relationship between OL & QB is obviously symbiotic, but I think the right QB helps the OL more than the right OL helps the QB." I respectfully disagree and believe the opposite. The right OL can make a QB look great, and a bad OL can make a good QB look awful. Just ask Brady in his two losses to the Giants. Their DL wore out the Patriots O

I agree the QB class looks deep. This is my thought. A great offensive line can make players great. Take Kurt Warner, he could not make an NFL team then all of a sudden he is in the Hall Of Fame. Really?? NO he just landed in the right spot. One draft has us taking Andrew Thomas (tackle from Georgia), then Tyler Baidasz C/G from Wisconsin), then D'Andre Swift RB from Georgia) I kind of l

Oh i hope it is not another concussion.... he had two his last year in college.... got checked for a concussion in another game this season.... Does he have a fragile head? That was my concern with him coming out of college. I do agree, stick him back out there , we need to see what he can do.

In the most obvious salary dump since Cleveland took on Brock Osweiler and his $11 million dollar salary for a second round draft choice.... we got a 5th for a 7th and a good player very familiar with our head coach.... I know he is injured but I think he may stick around next year ..... i think its a great trade

I wish we could find a team foolish enough to make a trade like they did Ricky Williams or Hershal Walker. I do think they will draft a QB first, just hope they do their homework before they decide on which one.

I am good with Young with our first #1, depends who is available for our second #1, if Herbert or either Alabama WR falls I say pick them or best CB or OT, for the third #1 Fromm is a good option or OG/C depending who you picked second

I was just thinking that .....perhaps.... the best thing that happened last night is that Howard got hurt again.... this means no one will want to trade for him and we can get him better for next year...He is a good piece to keep in place for next year and the future

204. Re: Drake
The sixth round pick looks like potentially the last one in the round where as the 5th rounder would be the first or second in that round (potentially 62 slots higher) We need to root for Drake to meet whatever clause will escalate the pick to the 5th round.

205. Re: Drake
I liked Drake to, but better to get something for him then lose him for free. Its like if someone gave you a gift card that would expire at the end of the year or you could only spend the money on the lottery. Would you let it go to waste or take a chance?

206. Re: Tua
First of all I think we all can agree we can use many players at most positions. QB, DE, OL (all positions) WR, CB/S I look at the draft like this. If you have a player that is by far the #1 player at that position (ie Chase Young) or players that are 1a and 1B at their postion (the QBs) then if you can draft the #1 guy then get the 1B guy that makes more sense then grabbing Tua just for the

I am not sold on Tua. The statistics say only 1 (Eli Manning...i can't count Wentz cause he was hurt) QB drafted as the first QB drafted in his class has won the superbowl since 2000. Interestingly enough of the 11 QB's drafted as the first QB drafted that year only 1 (Baker Mayfield) plays in the AFC. More QB's drafted second in there class have won the superbowl (3 ...Joe Flacco, Aaron Roger

TC, Yes it is a bit offensive, but I could not fix all the holes with those 7 picks. The rest of that draft I picked up a LB, S, Edge, OT and WR. I assume some holes will be fixed in free agency. Although if we fixed the offense it will help the defense because we could hold the ball longer and put up some points allowing the defense to rest. We should have been up 20 to 10 on Dallas at the
