ChyrenB.... Dan Marino never won a super bowl because his defense was bad. If he played for San Francisco at that time they would have won eight super bowls. He is hands down the best QB ever. Not trying to be Debbie downer.... but if you look at the 3 wins so far they are basically because of turnovers. We were out gained by miles in two of the three. That is not a receipt for a winning team. You cannot count on turnovers at crucial times to win games. Our team needs lots of components to become relevant in the playoff picture, the injuries are not helping either.

I believe he planned it all along. Mentally he was finished with football but he wanted his last big headline. So, since it had never been done before he went for it. SPLASH, huge headline for him.
