hey Mr. Ross, I have 20 years of experience as a Head Coach. I have been OC and Dc at different times. I am willing to work with Ireland. Hiring a High School coach from Canada can't be more embarrassing than what has been going on the last couple years. Gimme a call....but...let it ring a few times, I may be on the other line with the Colts.

Jason Allen just made 2 tackles in a row. He is playing in the PLAY-OFFS. Hmm....typical story...we cut guys who are good players.

Good point. Sparano has qualities that may make him a good coach....1 day...he may....but he needed years of experience as a co-ordinator. I want someone who has been a Head Coach before.

excellent points. Long is very good, but Jerry seemed to hold his own alright. But ideally, it would be cool to have a new elite QB, with a solid OL in place. Long, Incognito, and Pouncey are solid. Figure out which spot is best for Carey and Jerry or add through free agency and we have a great OL. I really feel this group was poorly coached.

Not true at all. It was adjusted years ago because of the escalating costs of the top 5 picks. Now that the rookie wage scale is in effect, the trade chart is still relevant. the Trade chart was never 'gospel' it is a guide based on supply and demand. that was evidenced when we were unable to trade out of the Ronnie Brown pick, and the 49ers were stuck with the Alex Smith pick. In that

The 1st overall is worth 3000 points. If we have the 10th pick that is worth 1300 points. I would say Jake Long being a 1st overall and seasoned but young veteran who has proven that he is indeed a blue chip player is worth 2000 points. So Jake and our 1st should be more than enough. BUT I wouldn't want to make that deal. Jake Long has another 10 seasons of being our starter. He plays ver

Those stats are hard to get without a paid subscription. Why don't you tell us the top 4 or 5 guys who lead the league in drops in 2009, 2008...see how many 'non elite' guys are on that list and how many 'elite' there are.

Last year the top pass droppers were..... Wes Welker 13 ( from the great Tom Brady) Reggie Wayne 12 (From the amazing Peyton Manning) Marshall 11 ( From the ...? replacable?...Chad Henne) Terrel Owens 11 ( From the sought after Carson Palmer) Austin Miles 10 (From the frustrating Tony Romo) You guys need to look more objectively at the whole situation. Elite WR,s plying with eli

He wanted out. He was involved in a tragic incident in which a teammate was killed by someone trying to shoot him. I can see why Denver had too many distractions. he aint perfect, but he is our best WR.....the best since Chambers....and top 10 in team history.

Moore looks like he has a ton undeveloped upside. I am all for keeping him as our 2012 starter and seeing how good he can get. BUT.... Teams do film studies on QB's, they look for tendancies, tells, deficiencies and then attack them. I remember watching a Broncos game where they kept zooming in on Elway's hands under center because it was reported that the defense had noticed on film that

We can't afford to hope one of them falls to us at 8 or 10. Teams that need a QB are Colts, Dolphins, Redskins...so it looks great, but, some team may be ready to pull the plug on their guy and trade up to get a guy. Tony Romo could find some rookie competition next season since he chokes in the clutch. Ryan Fitzpatrick pooped his pants once he got his contract. The Bills can avoid a $

I acknowledge that Marshall dropped some crucial passes. BUT he has made some other clutch plays and he takes a TON of coverage away from the other targets. With all the drops...with all the double coverage he is about to have one of the top 10 seasons by any WR in Dolphins History. Chambers had 82 catches for 1118yds in 2005. To find a similar performance you have to go back to O.J.McDuff

You are blinded by hate my friend. He is a much better player than you give him credit for. The last multiple 1,000 season WR we had was named Mark and caught balls from Marino.

Chambers had 1 season in which he had more receptions than Marshal has right now (14 games.) McDuffie had 1 season with 90 receptions.....playing with MARINO!!!! no RB and no complementary WR's. After that you have to go back to the 80's to find someone who is exceeding Marshall's production. hey, I hate his drops too. But to say he doesn't make plays? or doesn't make a difference? Isn

Marshall draws double coverage and is still our leading receiver. Here is something....Marshall's stats put him up there with Chambers, McDuffie, Fryar, and Clayton...without Marino. yeah...cut him. NOT

Hey, I'm fine with us keeping Moore, and signing manning...as long as we also draft a QB. we gotta draft a Qb. irrespective of anything else ....we gotta draft a QB. Hey! Sign Manning, trade Moore while his stock is up and draft a QB!

The new rookie scale shouldn't impact the value of a trade that much. In the past the high contracts made it hard to trade and hard to keep the top picks....the new scale benefits both parties. A trade get the #3 pick from the 10th spot based on past values would require: The 10th pick, our 2nd rounder ( aprx 10th in that round) and next year's 1st. ( the value of next year's 1st is equival

That is correct. If you play weaker opponents and lose...you suck more...and get the higher draft pick. the good news this week? Minnesota plays Washington...both ahead of us...one of them wins. Hopefully Washington. Tampa plays Carolina....one wins...hopefully Tampa Bad news? Cleveland plays Baltimore and will likely lose. Key game? WASHINTON!!! really though?......we need to

me neither...the only think I can see is that guys like Cowher may not want to work for any GM. I could see a structure where Carl Peterson becomes the tie breaker between a young GM and an experienced coach like Billick, Gruden, Fisher.

Like I said...unless we have a proven GM with his signature on paper...Ireland did enough in the last draft to make him a SAFE bet.

I know there is all this tal;k about canning Ireland....but this last draft was pretty good. Pouncey, Thomas, Gates, Clay and Wilson is a solid draft. His failure to get a QB is MOST likely tied to marching orders from Ross. When Ross failed to get Harbaugh the 2011 season became a holding pattern for the eventual rebuild. No significant free agent signings, no big trades. Not saying he

Minny may not be sold....but...no way they draft Ponder 12th overall and follow that up by drafting a QB again. AND they need more than a QB...so If they can't get Luck, but they can get The #7 pick, a 2nd rounder and another (3rd?) pick...they can get 3 for 1. All likely starters. Minny will not draft a QB. SO do they take a guy at #3 or trade down and collect picks? The latter makes the mos

Currently we are picking 7th. The smart move is to trade with Minnesota. They drafted a QB and would likely be very interested in stocking up on talent. This Indy trade talk is to soften Manning and hope he adjusts his contract ( he shouldn't). they are in a tough spot. they may want to get a truckload of picks...but they will find that teams know they are stuck. They may draft Luck and

absolutely true! Bill picked someone who would come in and be his mini-me. No one was interviewing Sparano. We don't need an Offensive minded coach. we need a great Head Coach who knows when his OC is on the right track and let's him do his thing and when the OC needs to adjust things. We need someone who is not cautious. You can be aggressive on O and D. I want a HC who knows how to br
