I agree, Mangini is a pretty good coach. Chad didn't look this good last year. Chad has never looked this good. he has had a career year. So bringing in Favre was a gamble worth taking. Who decided on Favre? Tannenbaum or Mangini? both? Unfortunately for Mangini, this was an expensive lesson. Favre struggles in cold weather.

just got back from a short ski vaco with no internet. What a GREAT day Sunday was. knocking the Pats & Jets out with one game!!! ( I know the Jets were elminated, but it felt like we did it to them). Yes. I said from the beginning that he would be mentoring both Ireland and Sparano on how to do their jobs. He has been at practice, talking to players, talking to the coaches, and Ireland, having a say in all things but saying nothing about anything to the media. I agree, this division leader automatic slot needs some review. I could see that if you play in a tough division like the AFC East once was, or the NFC East, that it is possible a good team would have a worse schedule than a team that plays in an easy division. But as you pointed out Denver is an average team playing in a CRAP division. They need to make up a divisional strength formula

Acts of desperation are something New England has typically avoided. A true sign of their demise :-) Maybe they will trade picks for someone that won't pan out. And maybe they will draft a few busts?

Agreed. W4e are winning games that we lost last year. Last year we lost to the Raiders, the Browns, Bengals, Bills (twice), Texans. they were losing teams ( ok Browns had a good year last year). This year we are beating them. Ugly, pretty, last minute...they are wins that were loses last season. As to our prospects? The competition changes. We improve while others fade. New England - Br

he is done for this year for sure....it may take him a while. To be honest, with our youth...he may lose his starting spot next year. I don't know which bone he broke, anyone?
