Exactly. I mentioned this point in my breakdown of the season thread. So far the only proven

My personal evaluation is two fold. As far as fan expectations I believe he is doing as well as most would do on that team. However given his draft position, I think he isn't living up to the hype. For example if you asked me if I would trade a rookie RT for him straight up I'd think you were nuts. As far as who cares, it's just fan talk man. It's football related and interesting to me and I'

Ok so let's go hypothetical just for fun. Miami beats NE twice, the jets and bills once but loss other games to go 7-9 for the season, missing the playoffs by 2-3 games. Does Campbell come back next year as HC, or does Ross go get a guy like Cowher or Gruden?

I'm not sure I spelled his first name right. Anyway, what do you guys think of this guy now that he has plenty of tape? A lot of posters including myself voiced our opinions that the Bucs shouldn't have drafted this guy, that he was a Jamarcus Russell Jr. Given his draft position, is he living up to expectations? I admit that I was wrong that he would fail as bad as Russell. But is Winston the QB

We all got a semi watching the Phins put 38 on the board against the Titans. Coming off a horrible start before the bye that saw the head coach fired and a positions coach put at the wheel, the win gives fans hope that all that was wrong with this talented team was a lack of motivation and proper head coaching. So I thought we should look at our remaining schedule and see how the rest of this

Since being drafted in 2010 Suh has 46 career sacks. So basically he averages a sack every other game.

Bad play by one position can make another position look a lot worse than it really is.

Watching PTI on ESPN they said the team that had the bully scandal has put a bully in charge of the team. Apparently you have to be a non emotional, sweat suit wearing coach to be considered in good graces with ESPN. I may be seeing this with a homers eyes, but I swear ESPN rarely talk about Miami unless it is unavoidable and it's usually with a negative spin. I've been watching more fox sports n

Campbell has been given a scheduling gift. Tennessee and Houston are must win games to imprint our players belief in him. Gotta win the games we're supposed to.

In some new power rankings, the phins shot up to as high as #15. Critics pointed to our new coach as part of the reason for their new found belief in the team. As for me, I don't get excited beating a team we should beat. Against a rookie qb with a weak supporting cast the result was expected. Let's see how we do against some decent teams. I like Campbell's fire. Philbin put our players to sleep.

Whether fired or not, I think it is very telling that Ross didn't stick a coordinator in as the interim as is a usual move when a coach is fired like thos. Going to campbell and skipping over the oc and DC means to me either they are on the way out yet or that a basic new system is coming. Or both.

Miami is allowing 165 yards per game running. That is the worst in the NFL. After sinking 60 mill guaranteed in Suh, Ross couldn't just let that fly. Campbell, for better or worse, is a part of the parcells coaching tree. I foresee a return to smashmouth and a commitment to the run.

Big thing I noticed about Miami this year. They never came out hyped. Always flat and very slow to start. Numbers tell the story. Miami has been outscored in the first quarter by some ridiculous number. Like 125-20 before week four. Not exact numbers but the represented difference is accurate. Gotta come out hard and strong and start scoring in the first.

There are worse teams performing much better. This team has a lot of wins in them. I haven't given up on this season yet. We are only 1/4 of the way done. Lots of football left to play. Lots of time to fix issues and right the ship. Firing the coach and putting in a new system is the right call.

That's strange. I'm watching ESPN and they are saying this was a no brained for Ross. Opinions are like noses. Getting rid of philbin and the coordinators is a good step towards fixing this team. We have way too much talent to be under performing like this. Our coaches had no clue how to utilize our players. We need to try and shore up our o line and get some semblance of a running game going. If

Look at the situation in San Francisco for a good example of what coaching and schemes can do to contribute to a qb being successful or horrible. Harbaugh leaves and now CK looks horrible after having a season that earned him a huge contract.

I hope that the fluid situation includes our defensive coordinator being fired as well. Any coach that plays Suh in a 2 gap style should be fired asap.

RT is a B+ qb. Calling for his head is ridiculous. You can't be successful when you can't run on first down AT ALL, are constantly put in 3rd and long situations, are told to run five yard slant route plays on said 3rd and longs, and that doesn't even begin to relate it to the problems that transfer over from the defense issues. Why in the hell is the most disruptive DT in a generation being assi

Wallace was an upgraded Ginn JR to me. Always had that opinion. Paying someone who runs fast that kind of money to run fade routes all game. Not one of the GM's best signings. Not that he had many of those to point to.

I personally love the idea of Miami playing in a storied respected stadium over the next 50 years. I've never been a fan of teams moving to these new stadiums all the time and putting the bill on the taxpayers. Don't get me wrong, I understand that the NFL is growing, and that the needs of the team in regards to facilities for the team and its fans will always be the determining factor. However,
