This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
This isn't going away any time soon. Jonathan Martin is obviously really screwed up in the head, and Richie Incognito was the wronnnnnnng guy to be trying to socialize him.
I'm not sure anyone would have been the right guy to socialize Martin, but Richie was absolutely not even one of the two billion best people on earth for the job.
So yep, sit back and grab a beer and enjoy the show.

IN MY OPINION, Jon Martin is a flat out turd, IF THE INFORMATION THAT HAS COME OUT TODAY IS CORRECT.
IN MY OPINION, He is locker room poison, IF THE INFORMATION THAT HAS COME OUT TODAY IS CORRECT.
Had to add those disclaimers so that his dad doesn't file a defamation suit against me.

First time I check this board in a while, get a good laugh at people trying to pin this one all on the QB.
No rushing game, awful pass blocking, 7 drops according to the game book, and there it is, the QB sucked.
Where's Miami Reppa to tell us how much better Cleo Lemon would have done?

I am pretty sure that that second logo Truth just posted is real. That's obviously a jersey.
It's not bad, and I like the color change a lot.
They could have done much worse.

At that price, they can have him.
Too many injuries. At least I won't have to watch him get clowned on by John Abraham ever again.

Wilson will be fine, he doesn't take nearly the same amount of contact as Griffin.
My guess is that Griffin will be out of the league in 5 years with two bum knees and concussion problems.

Johnny Manziel is a small guy and I don't want a small guy from a spread option offense who runs a lot as my quarterback.
Because those guys get hurt a lot.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Russell Wilson has been pedestrian in the other games he's played this season. I've seen them all. He was very good today, but very average in the other five games.
Griffin's a good player but he's going to have a short career, because the best part of his game is his legs and he's already had his eggs scrambled once in six games.

eesti, where did you hear that?
That's heartening news. 15 hours a day is a Peyton Manning type of workday.

This used to be a great board to log into and talk Dolphins football. These days, it is rubbish.
While I appreciate that the moderators are trying to provide a civilized, tolerant atmosphere where even the most asinine opinions are allowed to be vomited out ad nauseum, a handful of aggressively bad posters can't take a hint and won't go away.
I don't care if DolfanKing is a banned po

Vontae Davis was our best CB, but I'm not going to cry over a guy who can't report for camp in shape, has a crap attitude, and gets suspended for showing up DRUNK to practice.
Good riddance to Vontae, I can't believe we snookered the Colts for a 2nd round pick.
But the fact that he was our best CB is just another indictment of Jeff Ireland.

Joe Philbin is trying to build a locker room full of winners. You know, guys who keep their heads down, their mouths shut, and work their butts off to win football games? It's the model that he saw work in Green Bay and he's trying to emulate it here.
I 100% support this rebuilding effort.
Karlos Dansby will be the next guy shipped out, btw.

We're not the worst. Our defense is solid and will keep us in games. We can run the ball well, which means we have a good chance to win against teams that don't have elite passing attacks.
Cleveland is on the clock, IMO.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
I think Tannehill is going to start week 1.
I could be really, really wrong, but that's just what I see. Matt Moore is a good backup QB, but we aren't going anywhere with him.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Chad Johnson isn't even that good.
There's a reason he signed for peanuts and nobody else is going to pick him up.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
He needs to start the season. He understands the offense and the game. He has the tools, and the game does not seem too big for him.
Play him.
We know what Matt Moore has. Matt Moore is a very good backup QB and a guy I'm glad we have on our team, but he isn't elite and never will be. Tannehill could be that guy, and we need to find out.

Am I the only one who finds this strange?
Recall, if you will, that last season Garrard insulted the Dolphins because we wouldn't offer him a guaranteed contract? Recall even further that he then went on to have season ending surgery on his back about a week or so later?
Something strikes me as being really odd with this guy.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Greg Cosell and Gil Brandt are two guys I tend to give more credence to, so it's really, really nice to see that they were both optimistic about Tannehill.
Gil Brandt in particular is a guy who really knows what he's talking about. He revolutionized the way NFL players are scouted and he's not a guy who just throws crap out there without doing any research on the subject, at least not usually

His accuracy and ball placement are, to put it charitably, inconsistent at best.
He also has no experience in the system and from what I've seen of his footwork and movement in the pocket, he just doesn't seem well suited to the system. Footwork is really
