suck hind teat. Farmers know that when milking a cow, you can squirt any one of the cows multiple teats to taste the milk.

However, when you suck on the hind teat, you get a bunch of cow arse in your nose.

I would bring Chad Johnson back ONLY if he holds a press conference in which he says that
1) He highly regrets his actions with respect to his wife;
2) that he came to the Dolphins with the WRONG ATTITUDE meaning that he should have recognized he was being "given his last chance" but instead wrongly thought he was participating in a "Super-star reality" show
3) that he realizes now that this is TRULY his last chance,
4) that he is grateful for being given this opportunity, and
5) that his ONLY objective NOW is to play the best football he is capable of and that
6) no one will ever hear from his 'MOUTH' again.

Anyone who saw that Hard Knocks release interview with Chad Johnson realizes that he was truly repentent.

It's time for BOTH parties to recognize they made a mistake and bring him back.

Should we re-sign him if he meets those conditions?

oh dear lord this is the worst idea I've read yet. no offense...I assume you are posting a hypothetical and dont actually BELIEVE this should be done.

Johnson is garbage. I don't see any other team wanting to sign him. And you want this team to resign him a week after cutting him? How would that make the coaches look???? We are not talking about an in-his-prime randy moss here

No, I would not even consider this right now. Let's wait and see what shakes loose on the waiver wire, I'm guessing we pick up at least one of the WR that GB drops. Also, let's start putting feelers out there for trades. We have an extra 2nd and 3rd next year, so we have some ammo to get a good WR or two. I think we could get James Jones for a 4th rounder.

I'd rather go 1-15 without Johnson than to go 9-7 with him...not that he'd be that good, or important to our success or lack thereof mind you.

Has to be one of the most bass ackwards things I've ever seen on here... Rather go 1-15 then 9-7 because you don't like a player??

I get people are entitled to their opinions but man... Do you work for dolphins management? Seems like common mentalities in action here.

Yeah that is ridiculous. Hell, I would put up with any player if he could swing us 6 wins in a season.

That's too harsh, Ihatebrady. I mean implying that he works for the Dolphins' management. He and I disagree on this one point but there's no need to drag him down to THAT level. LOL. That is TOO cold.

No, I don't work for the team. Johnson simply isn't that good at this point in his career...add to that, he's a jack ass and a distraction the team does not need, and it's a no brainer. I'd rather be bad this year, and fix things at WR next year, than to bring him back and have to sit through his BS circus again.

I simply don't want "MY" team to have jerks playing for it...I want high quality, high character, role model guys, with talent, heart and desire.

But he may have learned his lesson, Ken. He appears genuinely sorry.

If there were no forgiveness and belief in redemption, there would be no Christ.

He had his chance at NFL forgiveness and redemption in the eyes of the Dolphins already, and he screwed it up...that's on him, not on us.

He dosen't merit, nor deserve, another shot with the Phins.

Tell me who are in this great receiving corp we have Ken, that makes you so satisfied with our position at that position if I may be redundant?

I'm not satisfied with our current group of receivers and have been championing us drafting a big, FAST, physical, player in each draft this decade and much to my chagrin, we have always passed...but Johnson had his shot, got cut, and under no cicumstances should he be be brought back...even if that means we have to tank the season.

I'm fine with trading for a WR, I'm fine with scouring the upcoming cuts, I'm even fine with continuing to develop guys we already have...but we have to make at least one move before the season starts. I just don't think guy's like Chad Johnson or Terrel Owens should be the guys...they don't deserve any more chances, even from the desperate.

I think he should skip the teats altogether, and go right for the cow's arse. Then the cow should kick him square in the groin. And after all that, we *still* should not sign him.

Bob,

I have to assume you are just messing with people. Surely you don't really think that is a good idea. Right? Or is this the liberal in you speaking? If it is the liberal in you speaking then a much better idea would be for him to change his name back to Ochocinco and then sign him. That way you could claim that you weren't giving Chad Johnson another chance, but instead bringing Ochocinco back. As the brilliant Ann Coulter once wrote, " Liberals never, ever drop a heinous idea; they just change the name. “Abortion” becomes “choice,” “communist” becomes “progressive,” “communist dictatorship” becomes “people’s democratic republic” and “Nikita Khrushchev” becomes “Barack Obama.”" Sorry Bob, but it is getting to be that important time again and I couldn't resist the poke. Of course, it is just meant in good humor.

Let me correct you and give you a true glimpse of my political philosophy, Jonathan.

I am actively trying to create a new political party call the Center Party. The requirements, you must be a) Pro-Choice and b) Pro-Death Penalty.

My slogan has always been, "I promise to fight a war that will end in the destruction of all right-wingers and conservatives, but first I will have to kill all the Liberals because they will stand in my way whining about the loss of life."

Based on your requirement, ChyrenB, the party is misnamed. If it's truly a Center Party, then there would be no hard lines stances at all.

I prefer to argue details...rather than take a hard line. I'm Pro-Choice AND Pro-Life. That is...I'm Pro-Choice up to the point that a fetus is viable...then I'm Pro-Life. At that point the fetus should have rights just like the mother.

I think the Death Penalty is appropriate in certain cases, but I think it's ridiculous that it costs more to kill someone than to keep them in jail for life. That's because of all the appeals. I mean, why does someone sit on Death Row for 20 years??!! That makes no sense. So, unless we can fix the system, then I'm against the Death Penalty, as fiscally it makes no sense.

That what I did for a living before I retired. I was an appellate Death Penalty Prosecutor. I defended death verdicts on appeal.

Your argument that it is too expensive is like the little boy who kept breaking out his neighbor's window. The old man kept replacing the window and on the sixth occasion, while the glass men were putting in a new picture window to replace the one that the kid had broken, the kid approached the old man.

The kid said, "It really doesn't make any sense for you to keep replacing that window. I'm just going to break it out again."

The old man replied, "You've got a good point. But are you the one that I should be hearing it from?"

The reason that the death penalty is so expensive is because those defense attorneys who oppose me draw out every issue AND MAKE IT EXPENSIVE. They are the little boy who keeps breaking the window.

The reason for the existence of the death penalty is to continue to validate the value of human life by taking the life of anyone who takes it.

You cannot allow mere money to devalue human life, particularly if that expense is being intentionally run up by the very people who are trying to prevent the application of the death penalty.

Bob,

I remember our correspondences regarding politics and you mentioning that party. You probably recall that I find it ridiculous that one's stance on abortion, the death penalty, gay mariage etc. are so important to people when voting for a president. Throw everything else out the window, but economic policy and views on foreign affairs. I consider myself a libertarian because I am pretty liberal on social matters, but when it comes to those two important considerations I am ultra-conservative. That is why I tend to vote Republican. Give me supply-side economics because it is logical and is tried and true and give me a strong national defense. The rest of the crap you can settle amongst yourselves.

You must be crazy. Not a chance.

Even if it made sense from a footbal stance, it would undermine Philbins stance and make him a wishy washy stand for nothing HC.

Sorry but Chad just isn't good enough for that kind of move.

I*'d sooner go after Jabbar Gaffney or one of the others about to get cut loose in the 53 cut down.
