Maybe the Dolphins (team, front office, ownership, etc) could go to Los Angeles and they could move the Rams to Miami.

Obviously, there are huge holes in the Dolphins lineup as well as lack of depth. There is something else inherently wrong in Miami. The team, no matter the personnel makeup, rolls over and gives up too easily when they really need to step it up. The Dolphins lay a huge rotten egg in a game then talk about "missed opportunities" and "having to do better". There are too many

Merry Christmas to ya'll as well. I tried to attach a photo of the Christmas Card from the 1972 World Champion Miami Dolphins that I have framed (I traded a guy for the card with an autographed baseball signed by a player of Pittsburgh Pirates from the 70s). For some reason, it wont let me load photo.

Montequi - I agree with you. The term "Franchise" QB is a misnomer. What people really mean is that we need a "Hall of Fame" QB. In each decade, there are really only a handful Hall of Fame QB who end up taking their teams to a majority of the Superbowls (note: list below my be incomplete) 70s - Griese, Bradshaw, Staubach, Tarkenton, Stabler 80s - Theismann, Montana, Ma

The Dolphins have knocked 2 QBs out of the game in 5 total games under Campbell. Romo beware...

Joe Montana made a pretty good living throwing 5 yard passes to Jerry Rice and having him run another 60+ yards to score

If the Dolphins go 10-6, Campbell is NFL Coach of the Year.

I am cautiously optimistic. Under Campbell, win or lose though, I know the team is going to play hard and be aggressive. At least I can watch the games. I watched all of the Jax game, less than half of the Buffalo game and 3 plays of the Jets game. I could not stomach watching the team sleep walk through these games and watch Philbin stand on the sidelines looking clueless. I know the Dolphins wo

I do not believe that Miami has ever won against Houston. A victory would certainly be nice.

I spoke with a former Dolphins player I know (he was practice squad for awhile on the 53 roster 1 year I believe). He stated that probably the toughest part of being a pro coach is handling the 5-6 players on the team that make significantly more money than you do because in the overall scheme of things, they are higher up in the food change than you. I don't think that Coach Philbin had that

Colonel - I agree. Philbin was put into a position that he is ill-suited for. Coordinator? Yes. Head coach? No. What irks me the most is the comments about "we need to do better", "we need to start faster", etc. Well, no %&^*. Isn't that fairly obvious? There just appears to be no sense of urgency with this team. While the talent may not be where it needs to b

The problem with the current situation is that Coach Philbin's demeanor and personality have never struck me as one with a sense of urgency. Steady and stay the course, no matter the situation and recent results. Coyle wont be fired, at least not by Philbin because that's not his personality. I would expect the team's implosion to continue.

JC - Each year we play an entire division from both the AFC and NFC. This is rotated on a year-to-year basis. We also play one team from each of the remaining AFC divisions that finished in the same position/place we did. Last year, we played Jax based on division place. This year, we play all of the AFC South teams

If Miami were on the verge of playing the Super Bowl, then maybe you throw everything at this year and sign Mathis. The team has improved and will keep improving. We are not title contenders quite yet though.

The best comment I saw was speculating that Geno threw the first punch but it got intercepted.

Geno Smith out 6 to 10 weeks with broken jaw after being suckerpunched by teammate.

Thanks. That's what I figured. Holding out hope though.... What IS up with the NFLN coverage. you would think Dallas is 20 time defending champ as much as they talk about them.

The track record of letting guys that are a known talent walk to be replaced with "guys just as good at cheaper price" over the last several years is sketchy at best

Best Victories 1. AFC Championship game vs the Jets 1983. 14-0. This ranks higher than the Perfect Season Super Bowl win just because I disliked Gastineau that much. 2. Perfect Season Super Bowl. Dolphins 14 Redskins 0 Worst Defeats 1. AFC Championship 1992. Bills destroyed the Dolphins at Miami in AFC Championship game. 2. San Diego overtime loss. Great game but still hurts

I agree with Dolphaholic. I am not one to want to start over again and again. This is two straight years though that the team has not measured up in must win situations.

I keep hearing about how great the AFC north is based on the records of Cincy, Balt, Pitt and Cleveland. I'm not buying it. Granted, all the teams have 7 wins. Those wins though are padded as their out-of-division games include the AFC South and the NFC South. The AFC South has a combined record of 15-29 (0.441 win %) and the NFC South has a combined record of 13-30-1 (0.382 win %). Record
