I keep hearing about how great the AFC north is based on the records of Cincy, Balt, Pitt and Cleveland. I'm not buying it.

Granted, all the teams have 7 wins. Those wins though are padded as their out-of-division games include the AFC South and the NFC South. The AFC South has a combined record of 15-29 (0.441 win %) and the NFC South has a combined record of 13-30-1 (0.382 win %).

Record against AFC South and NFC south by team:

Wins Losses Ties
Cincinnati 5 0 1
Baltimore 4 2 0
Pittsburgh 5 1 0
Cleveland 5 1 0

We will get edged out of the playoffs due to a quirk in the schedule which allows the AFC North the fortune of playing the two worst (overall) divisions in football.

Yeah, well, the NFC South is putrid. I can't believe one of those teams will make the playoffs.

Anyone still think an elite Qb can will his team to win when he doesn't have a supporting cast? Look at Drew Brees and the 4-7 Saints.

Do you guys realize that Tampa Bay, at 2-9, still has an outside chance at making the playoffs? They're only 2 games out of 1st place in their division!!!! eye popping smiley

That's pretty sad. I'm all for adding two more teams to wildcard rounds one each conference. Only give top ranked on each a bye. That would be sweet!

A TRUE Elite QB doesn't need a team around him. He can block, pass, AND catch his own passes!!! That's what we need...a TRUE Elite QB!! spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

LOL. Don't even get me started on the 4-7 Matt Ryan and the 3-win Cam Newton. They clearly don't have the skills of the elite Qb's like Mark Sanchez, Brian Hoyer and Drew Stanton!

I had to google where Mark Sanchez is now. Philly. What are the Jets 2-9? Yeah, The Jesters made the right move getting rid of him.
