NT is certainly a need for the team. I don't think there's any deception going on. Ferguson is getting old and has had injury problems in his recent past. Soliai has the size, but has tons of question marks and was not productive when he did play. And remember, he was suspended twice this season. His status on the roster is tenuous, at best.

TJ is on the wrong side of 30, will want too much money, and isn't a real downfield threat. I would much rather draft a WR than overpay a 32 year old who has always benefitted from lining up opposite Chad Johnson. We need a #1 WR, a guy who is big enough to go over the middle and be a major factor in the red zone, while also having enough speed to get downfield. TJ doesn't fit the need.
