Didn't Clemons run a 4.33 at the combine?

As long as White is part of the active 45 man roster for the game, he can lineup wherever whenever. The emergency QB rules only apply to a QB if he is dressed for the game, but not among the active 45.

The panel on Sirius NFL Radio thinks he's a better fit as a free safety than as a corner. They said that both Bell and Wilson are guys that are better in the box, and that we needed a S who could play centerfield, and Smith fits that profile.

I hate the pick of Smith. He'll probably wind up playing S for us. Which would be ok if we hadn't spent a bunch of money on two safeties this winter.

I'm still thinking it's Cody Brown. My wildcard choice would be a TE.

As a football player, you have to love Pat White. The guy is too short to be a traditional QB, but he's a really good thrower of the ball. And he's a fantastic runner. And he's a winner.

#56 is way too high for Barden. He should be there when we pick in the 4th round. Ron Brace could be the guy at #44. And then we should have a shot at 2 of Sintim, Brown, or Kruger at #56.

This was a good point. The guys on NFL Network said that he'd have been a perfect pick for the Patriots, because of how they teach discipline, and don't put up with any nonsense. I would imagine that Sparano and Pasqualoni won't put up with any nonsense either, and that they will be hard on Davis from Day 1.

Brian Robiskie has done a number of interviews on Sirius, and he's made it clear that we're very interested in him. Don't be surprised to see him at #44, if he lasts until then. I would also see us looking at Massaquoi, Murphy, Barden, and Knox. We'll still have OLB to choose from, with Clint Sintim, Connor Barwin, Cody Brown, and Paul Kruger. People have to remember, this was a horrible ye

Wow. Matthews, Maualuga, Laurinaitis, and Everette Brown still left. I would imagine any of those 4 would be hard for Parcells to pass up, even if WR or CB are greater needs.

He also totally missed that Miami had Henne throwing to Brian Robiskie, too. And he mentions Jairus Byrd as a wildcard CB in round 1. Byrd ran a 4.65 40 at his private workout, after not running at the combine or his pro day. No way does he figure into the first round.

Gil Brandt is the ultimate draft guru. He can recite combine workout numbers from 10 years ago for just about any player you could name. And he has lots of inside sources. But, I've never seen him do a mock draft. If you listen to him on Sirius, he will call picks, and he's usually dead on. 2 years ago, he said flat out that we would take Ted Ginn. When his co-host said no way, and that if we wan

The issue with taking a corner in the first round this year is that there may not be a legit first rounder among any of them after Jenkins. It is a horrible year for corners. Every single guy has a question about speed, size, or attitude. Guys like Kiper, Mayock, and Kirwan are all saying that the corners will be available in round 2 because there isn't a real difference between most of the top p
