This is great! It takes my mind off of the fact that the team sucks right now. I'd also like to see new leadership in management, so this is a good start.
As for this latest "news", it's very interesting. As for bullying and hazing, I feel it should be banned, but I view that as a separate issue from the Martin/Incognito case.
IF this is true about "alleged" drug use, m

Something should be done about inadvertent helmet-to-helmet hits. If you're aiming at a runner's midsection and he drops down, it should not be a penalty. Just wait until ballcarriers figure out that if they're about to be tackled and it's a critical play, they can always drop and put their helmet right in the path of the defender's helmet... instant penalty and 1st down.

Cincy 49 Jets 9! I'd like to see Miami's offense put up 49 points, but it will never happen with Philbin and Sherman running the show.

IF Pouncey is involved in this latest investigation, then that's his fault for associating with Hernandez. Hernandez was trouble in college, so why would anyone hang out with him if they weren't like him?

The way I see it, Miami was up 17-3 and it should've been a bigger lead than that. Miami was dominating on the field; it was beautiful to see Brady sitting on the bench for most of the first half. What happened? NE made adjustments on offense and defense and Miami just fell apart. This was terrible... I was hoping for a blow-out and Miami got out-coached again. I won't say out-played, because the

I sure hope so! The way I see it, Miami's previous "system" would have been more successful with upgraded talent at the playmaker positions, and better playcalling and game management. Philbin comes in wi

I'm not 100% against Ireland because it's impossible to know how much input Philbin and Sherman had in the Draft and Free Agency. I can say that I don't like Philbin and Sherman's offense, a lot of the playcalling, and their poor use of personnel. In fact, the once decent defense has been neutered a bit, and that could be due to Coyle's schemes and playcalls.
If I was the one making the decis

Coaching and O-line: Everyone on the o-line has played poorly at times this season. Even the RBs and TEs have been missing blocks. I don't believe that the line was this bad last year; it wasn't great, but it was nothing like what we've seen over the past 6 games (plus preseason). I find it hard to believe that Incognito, Pouncey, and Jerry have all decided that this would be their worst year in

Since I really want a new coaching staff, I hope that Miami blows out the Pats 45-10 and then ends up with a record of 4-12.

Philbin isn't doing much of anything, and Sherman's offense is not a good fit for this team. When the team does win, I think that it's because of the players on the field making plays, and has nothing to do with the coaching. All of the losses and the negative plays of the offense can be traced back to 2 things: #1 Tannehill has been a turnover machine which has been helped by #2 poor coaching, p

I would, but I just don't have the time... complaining about the offense is a full-time job!
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Poor start? Miami has been sluggish out of the gate on nearly every game this year, including the preseason. It usually takes them a few possessions before they start sustaining drives, with a few exceptions. IMO, the coaching staff is doing a poor job of having the team ready for each game.

True. A lot of people on the offense

I'd trade Sherman for a tackling dummy and a bag of balls. The dummy could replace Clabo, and Martin needs some balls!

At least Miami didn't lose this week... although Tannehill was still sacked 3 times.

IMO, the blame falls on Mike Sherman and his inability to get the most out of the players that he has. The fact that Tannehill is the most sacked QB in the entire league speaks volumes of the failure of Sherman's offense. If I were Mr. Ross, I'd fire Mike Sherman immediately, plus most of the o-line. I'd pick up players off the street and look forward to a high draft pick for next year.

To be honest, I've never even thought about this apsect of the coaching; it does make sense. HOWEVER, for Tann

My take on this? Scrap this dumb zone-blocking scheme and get back to the power-blocking (or whatever it's called) that gave the Fins a decent running game before Sherman!
With Sparano/Henning/Daboll, Miami had a somewhat solid offense that needed a better #1 WR than head-case Brandon "Oops I dropped another TD" Marshall, a better QB, one or two better o-linemen, and better playcalli

It used to be that Miami played well until the 4th quarter, and now they're doing better late in the game. If they could just play like that from the start, then winning would be easier!

That Reggie Wayne call was correct I believe; I remember watching the replay. He was in motion running along the line of scrimmage, but then turned upfield and appeared to be running in place when the ball was snapped. I think that once he turns upfield he has to stop and be set at the line of scrimmage. A player can be in motion at the snap as long as he is moving parallel to the LOS. Am I right

Last year the defense had Luck in their grasp only to let him get away numerous times. I thought for sure that this year, with Wake getting additional pass rush help and a nice showing vs. Cleveland, that Luck would be spending most of the game on his back.
Wrong! Miami still let Luck play Houdini.
